The hotel is close to Chester. It has a large free parking lot and is very convenient. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. However, the hotel does not have an elevator and you need to carry your luggage upstairs. In addition, the toilet flushing in the room sometimes has weak water pressure. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast was very delicious.

A lack of any space for clothing or to hang clothes, breakfast was disappointing and overpriced, and even though you are staying a few days, payment was expected at each meal.

I did not stay at the Rowton Poplars Hotel, after becoming ill, and needing to return home. In spite of repeated, diligent efforts to communicate with ******* via email, phone, live chat, and text, none resulted in my ability to communicate with them, and cancel my stay in a timely way, so I paid for three nights at a fairly expensive hotel for nothing. I really do not understand how ******* cannot make at least one form of communicating with them work, since guests are traveling 24/7, and may have difficulties with lodging, rental cars, and other aspects of their trips. ******* was NOT there for me in ANY way, when I needed them. No links on their website to cancel my stay were functional.

Pub with great benefits
Small annex & en-suite. Room up one flight of stairs accessed off car park, but was hygenically clean, bright and snug. A nice bar and resteraunt downstairs, which doubles as breakfast area. Evening meals and breakfast selection are good value and very tasty.
