BreakFree Peninsula Surfers Paradise

Beautiful appartment, clean, friendly staff and awesome location. Loved it. We are returning in August with more friends and family. I would definitely recommend the Breakfree Peninsula surfers. Nothing was a problem when re booking for August. Highly recommend 👌

The *****ula has the best facilities from The cleanliness of the apartments to the pool and landscaping - you are a short walk to Cavill avenue and the beach is right across the road. You have to ask for wifi and there is no foxtel but really if you are on holidays the view from the balcony will keep you entertained . The staff are friendly and apartments spacious the bed and pillows are so Comfy as well I would highly recommend

Disgusting unhygienic dirty apartment. I'm going to upload all the photos of apartment 23F to every trip advisor app to show everyone how wrong the advertisement is and charge $1300+ for a sh$t hole that is unhygienic for anyone especially for families with young children. I've photos with untested appliances (last test was on 2017!!!) Dirty kitchen!!! Food still inside the drawers !!! Oven hasn't been tested and still a 1980s oven plus it wasn't clean!!!! Missing and broken tiles in the bathroom!!!! Dirty Disgusting couch that made the apartment smell!!! The furniture such as the tv unit, coffee table, kitchen benchtop everything were pealing off . Door handles falling apart , holes and dirt on curtains. I requested the same day that I moved in a portable fan because the fan in one of the bedrooms wasn't fully functioning. They were unable to provide me ONE fan for the 6 days that I stay. I have much more to share about this apartment and let me not get stared on management. I paid a decent amount for this disgusting unsafe apartment. I was ignored when I approached her (manager) and she took 4 days to get back to my email regarding me concerns. This is not how you run a place. I'M NOT RECOMMEND BREAKFREE PENINSULA SURFERS APARTMENTS TO ANYONE!!!!!

We checked into room 38E at Breakfree Peninsula Apartments in Surfers Paradise on the 7/6/23. We were to check in @ 3pm and with traffic being terrible on the way down, we didn’t arrive until 4pm! Straight away the desk clerk (male) referred to me as “the late check in.” He gave me keys and told me to be back at the reception desk at 9am the next morning to pay a $200 bond and get an extra set of keys! I arrived down stairs at 9am on the dot and waited and waited and waited! Another gentleman who had a complaint to make because the gate to access his vehicle would not open, walked off after about 10 minutes He wasn’t happy! Finally the male desk clerk arrived at around 9:15am! He said can I help you and I said I had to pay my bond and get another set of keys for room 38E. He said oh that’s right, you’re the late check in! I told him it was out of my control and he just looked at me and did the credit card transaction and gave me the extra set of keys! He asked if there was anything else for today! I told him that none of us could connect to the free Wi-Fi. He said it wasn’t free wifi, but was only a small charge for the internet and Foxtel! I told him I would like to pay for it and he said he couldn’t do it today because his computer had gone down! I said then what about tomorrow? He said it probably wouldn’t be back up until Monday when I was checking out! He gave me a 6 digit number and said that if I could get the Breakfree Peninsula name to come up on our wifi connection list, it would connect! He told me to walk around the apartment and see if it would come up! I went back up to room level 38E and walked around the apartment and out on the balcony! Still no one could get it to come up! I went back down and told the receptionist that it still wasn’t coming up! He told me there wasn’t anything that he could do and that some apartments had DEAD SPOTS in them so no Internet! I told him that I had paid for a deluxe room and it had cost me $928 for 3 nights! I don’t know what you want me to do he replied! I said this is the first apartment that I had ever stayed in that couldn’t get internet while every other one could! I told him I would be leaving the worst feedback on every holiday website that I could! He asked me not too and instead gave me a form to fill out stating what I wasn’t happy with and giving it back to him upon checkout at 10am Monday morning and he would give it to management! I asked him if this would change anything now and he said no! He told me he couldn’t even offer me another room cus they were fully booked, which they weren’t! I told him I wanted to see the manager and he said she wouldn’t be in until Monday morning and I might be able to talk to her if she came in before I checked out! I told him not to worry because feedback speaks volumes in this day and age! Facebook, TripAdvisor, ***********! I will be leaving negative feedback on them all! So I went back up to my room and started looking for a modem and found a socke

Very dirty, management was terrible, majority of appliances didn’t work including the air conditioning and to top it all off the kitchen flooded. When trying to contact after hours staff, they advised they couldn’t assist until reception opened so we had to sit in a flooded kitchen until reception opened (a good 3 hour wait). Very disappointed with our stay.

The view was excellent.. property itself had old furnishing and there was no wifi. But still good value for money due to location and view of the ocean from the balcony

Perfect Location! Older building, but that to me meant earthy and unpretentious and oversized generous floor layout. I loved the hotel and the pools and the walking distance to everything. Tram, food, beach all within 2 minutes walk. If I could live here... I would. So sad to leave. Was there on business this time, need a holiday so I can enjoy the location even more next time.

Staff very helpful I just think a few little updates would help otherwise excellent
