This place is lovely. It just had a couple little, dirty things here and there like the coffee stain on the sheets but for most part it was nice for passing through

The check in process was quick and friendly. The rate that was paid and for all the amenities and breakfast, I would definitely come back again if I’m in the area.

We stayed four nights while visiting family. Room was good, beds very good, breakfasts individually cooked (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage offered; really unusual). During that time I had very bad ankle sprain. Hotel provided a wheel chair! All the staff very friendly and helpful. This is a permanent place for me when I visit again.

It’s an average place to stay in. We stayed for just 4 days with family and it was ok. The breakfast was good enough. The property looked pretty old and the bathrooms had broken fittings. Needs improvements. It’s ok for a short stay not that the price was too low. Thank you.

Room 208…..very large carpet stain inside front door.
Also, scratch marks (in paint) inside bathroom door.
Other than that, excellent property, nice convenient location!

We have holidays at the Hawthorn. between all three rooms we were able to make what we needed. For the price of the rooms, it was nice.
I would love to come back next year and see the in room basic houseware to be more complete. We were not able to use the bigger of the burners in two of the rooms as the elements didn’t heat up. Our rooms were 102-nice intirioror, needs more dishes and silverware to accommodate a family of 5. Room 107 has a dishwasher inside, but again needed more in home basic houseware to accommodate a family of 5 the silverware drawer is screwed shut but there is silverware in the cabinets. For Room 108 this room accommodates a family of 4. The in home basics were needed in here. There was a little bit but definitely not enough to accommodate a small family of 4. It’s very important that having suites , have the basic elements working and the basics houseware available no matter what the cost is. Overall my family was welcomed and always greeted with a smile. Christina in the restaurant stood out to me so much I had to stop by and give her a hug for the holidays. She was so helpful every morning and had a smile and willing to go the extra mile to make me happy and feel welcomed. So thank you Christina!

The property is clean, convenient, affordable, and slightly worn. My room had a small kitchenette (but no cookware, dishes, or utensils). Overall, I would stay at the property again because of its good quality/cost ratio.

I spent a weekend here in December. The staff was great very friendly and engaging. The gentleman at the desk really chatted me up about the renovations that were being done and asked if I would like one of the most recently remodeled rooms. I was not pleased to say the least. Furniture was chipped and laminate peeling off. Fabric on arm chair was extremely worn. No defuser on bathroom faucet, wafer sprayed everywhere. Stove top would shock me when power was on. Hot weather temperature was just enough to be OK but not enough to call hot. Breakfast was very good although thirty minutes late one day. Really quite neighborhood, wouldn’t stay there again if other options were available.
