Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Golden Line I in Golden Sands! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The animation team was amazing – so friendly and full of energy, making every day fun with great activities. The animators really kept everyone entertained, from kids to adults. The food was delicious with plenty of variety and fresh options every day. Highly recommend this hotel for a fun and relaxing holiday!”

From the moment we arrived, everything about this hotel was simply amazing! The staff was warm and welcoming, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and the entire atmosphere made us feel like we were on a true vacation in paradise. One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the animation team. They were absolutely fantastic! Full of energy, creativity, and genuine kindness, they made every day exciting. Whether it was water aerobics, evening shows, dance competitions, or kids’ club activities, the animators put their heart and soul into every event. They always made an effort to include everyone and brought smiles to both kids and adults. We especially loved how they remembered our names and took time to get to know each guest personally – it made the experience feel truly special. If you’re looking for a hotel where you can relax, have fun, and feel cared for, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back – and we already miss the amazing animators!

We’re a well-traveled family (53 countries visited), and this was our first trip to Bulgaria. We spent almost €1000 for 3 nights (excluding flights), expecting a higher standard. Unfortunately, this hotel fell short in many ways. ✅ Pros: • Quick check-in, friendly and helpful staff • Our suite was spacious with two rooms • Good internet coverage throughout the hotel • Variety of dishes at dinner • Nice weather during our stay • 10-minute walk to the beach (note: it’s not a private beach) ❌ Cons: • The hotel is very outdated, barely meets a 3-star standard • Small territory, cramped common areas • Our room’s air conditioner didn’t work (during 32°C heat). Technicians came but couldn’t fix it. Luckily, the second room had a working unit • Housekeeping entered our room at 9 AM without knocking. When asked to come later, the cleaning lady replied rudely that she had too much to do. We declined cleaning service afterward. • Additionally, the toilet seat was not properly fixed and kept moving, which was quite uncomfortable. • Not enough sunbeds by the pool — guests put towels out early • No private beach — sunbeds cost 12 BGN per sunbed • Boring entertainment, very basic animation • Dining room is small — during peak times it’s chaotic: no available tables, food scattered on the floor, people pushing • Cleanliness issues: tables wiped with one cloth and glass cleaner • Hot dishes served lukewarm, breakfast very limited • No proper coffee included — espresso only available for a fee • The guest crowd unfortunately left a poor impression

The rooms are old and not very clean, and the pool is extremely dirty and run-down. Overall, cleanliness is pretty much non-existent throughout the hotel. The restaurant tables were only superficially cleaned. The food was decent, but there were long queues at every meal. The pool bar was very poorly stocked, the staff was arrogant, and the drinks were terrible — they often ran out of ice and lemons. When we tried to talk to the hotel manager, he was extremely arrogant and rude as well. Even though we paid for an all-inclusive package, on the first day we were told that lunch was not included, even though on the last day we had to check out at 11:30 am (so we were already missing one lunch). I do not recommend this hotel at all. Although it’s rated as a 4-star hotel, it doesn’t deserve more than two stars.
