Kaibang Hotel Golmud

This hotel in Golmud was the best value for money we experienced during our week-long road trip in western China! 👍 The facilities and services are quite comprehensive and very clean. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a spacious deluxe room, which was very comfortable. 👍 Since the hotel's central air conditioning wasn't on yet, a thoughtful staff member brought a portable air cooler to our room. We didn't really need it at night; opening the window was more comfortable for sleeping. The only slight disappointment was the water temperature for a bath. Although the room had a bathtub and even disposable bath liners, the water was a bit too cool. The shower temperature, however, was just right. This hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast options – enough to fill you up and enjoy a good meal. Choosing this hotel in Golmud was definitely the right decision! 👍

The hotel is luxurious, and the front desk service was warm and attentive. The room was spacious, clean, and hygienic, and they even provided a complimentary deluxe breakfast. The view from the window was also beautiful.

Stayed two nights in Golmud, and for the second night, I specifically upgraded to a more expensive hotel because it had a bathtub. When checking in, I even asked the front desk if the room had been upgraded, and they told me it was already the best room type. However, after enjoying a bath, I went to take a shower and a problem arose – the shower head was barely dripping, like a trickle of tears! I quickly finished my shower and immediately contacted Ctrip's dedicated customer service to complain. Even though it was almost midnight, the Ctrip representative was very helpful in relaying my feedback! Finally, the hotel offered to change our room, but since it was already past midnight, my friend and I just wanted to get some rest, so we declined the offer. Ctrip also informed me that the hotel had apologized. I felt compelled to leave this review to remind the hotel of the importance of routine maintenance checks. The hotel's facilities and room setup were otherwise quite good, but one faulty shower head ruined the entire experience! Let this be a lesson.

The hotel amenities are complete, the room is super spacious, and the hygiene is spotless. The service is warm and attentive, parking is convenient, and breakfast is very rich with several egg preparations and fresh honey.

The staff and manager were incredibly warm and welcoming. Since my wife is a foreigner, the staff proactively reminded us and helped us with some visa-related matters, which was a huge help. The room itself was clean and tidy, though some facilities showed a bit of age due to the hotel's construction time. Overall, our stay was quite good. The breakfast spread, along with the NIO fast-charging station, were definite highlights. We also visited Huancai Mountain in Golmud, which was absolutely stunning!

Excellent 👍, fantastic 👍, amazing 👍! It was a warm and comfortable stay, just like being at home. Seriously, I'll definitely stay here again next time. This is my second time here, and the oxygen supply is extremely important for people who suffer from high-altitude sickness 👍.

The hotel lobby is grand and stylish, and the rooms are well-equipped, clean, and hygienic. The large parking lot makes parking convenient. The breakfast is abundant with local specialties, and the restaurant staff are very attentive and prompt. Thumbs up! 👍🏻
