Goonoo Goonoo Station

Absolutely a great stay and a perfect place to stay at. The grounds and the room were immaculate. The bed was superb. The dinner we had at the Glasshouse restaurant was Michelin quality. We had the Tasting menu and everything was delicious. The quietness at night was amazing. The stars. The sounds. We highly recommend an escape for a few days if possible to this true paradise.

Fantastic venue & accommodation for our sons wedding. Stayed the weekend, and all staff polite, welcoming, and courteous. Shared Jackaroo house with family and everything was perfect. The venue food, friendly staff & atmosphere was fantastic. But just remind staff that venue is leased till 11pm, so at 9:30pm please don't start removing our full drinks, wedding cake / desert platters, and pack up chairs, as they are still in use! Breakfast Sunday morning was unreal & happy to return again. The only thing I could recommend improving on is give drivers some warning when Goonoo station turn off is approaching - drove straight past the first time as travelling at good speed and unable to slow quick enough. Thanks for a great weekend and happy to return in the future

Great room with a fantastic view, we stayed in the Shearer's quarters, and we had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant both were really good. Treat yourself and stay and eat. Next stay we might try one of the houses. We will definitely be back!

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at Goonoo Goonoo. It was so peaceful & beautiful. The grounds, gardens, buildings, rooms are all immaculately maintained. The staff were very obliging and helpful. Our room was very clean, comfortable and everything we needed was there. Walking up to the restaurant for dinner & breakfast was lovely & the restaurant is fantastic.

The accommodation was very good - lovely surroundings and much care has been taken to make the units comfortable and tastefully presented. The reception staff were also helpful and friendly. However, the Glasshouse restaurant was a big disappointment. The menu is limited and the price out of all proportion to what was offered presented. It is NOT a Michelin restaurant but has such delusions. The staff were efficient but not friendly or helpful. Detracted from an otherwise pleasant stop-over.

Better than any other option in Tamworth. Be early to enjoy the restaurant and setting sun. Breakfast is not an early option. Signage and instructions on accessing the property can a little vague. Ideal for the business traveller or romantic getaway. An EV charger would be a nice addition.
