River Run Lodge

River Run Lodge the best is perfectly located with a water and bush setting. There is a beautiful common lounge area with windows overlooking the water, a kitchen at one end, huge fridges and two large stoves for guest use. It has an extensive range of kitchen utensils, cookware, crockery and cutlery, all modern , matching and in excellent condition. There is also a large Smart TV and a beautiful library corner, just completed. The booth tables have matching throw rugs as does the liege, modern comfortable couch. The bathrooms well exceed the quality usually found in the best traveller parks. They have soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers , custom stone like basis, wooded bench tops and designer tapware. The bunk rooms look clean and the beds are all made up with well coordinated linen. The Tavern was not open during our stay. Upon arrival though we went inside. It is purposefully designed and has beautifully coordinated decor. Everything is of exceptional quality. I would have loved to have been there over a weekend when meals are available, as the menu looked very appealing. Outside is a large grassy with party lighting, tables, access to the bar and a stage for performances. Again another beautiful area. Attention has been to detail which makes Rivers Run Lodge an outstanding place to stay. I could not more highly recommend this as a destination . I would have loved to stay longer but had limited time. I will not hesitate to recommend to others, even suggest they rearrange travel plans to stay here. It is by far the best accommodation I have stayed in and is of top quality with guest service, facilities and location,

An excellent place to stay. Two couples in caravans stayed two nights. The calm, peaceful place to stay. Kayaking, fishing and just lazing around. The amenities were excellent. Camp kitchen, tavern was to be seen to be believed. Not there when they were open but will definitely will go again either with or without the caravan. A most if you are in the south of Tasmania. Nathan was the a great host.
