Henna Hotel

The room was warm as if it had floor heating; it was very cozy as soon as I walked in. My room was on the first floor, the closest to the front desk, and it was quite comfortable. The breakfast, however, was very ordinary, with limited options and almost everything was cold. But that's normal. Foreign tastes won't match ours, which is understandable. I just stuck to eating fries; those were to my taste. As for the service, it was normally good. They extended my check-out by an hour and allowed luggage storage. I booked the airport shuttle through the hotel for 500 Lira. I didn't find any issues with the cleanliness. All in all, it's still worth staying here! You won't feel like you've made a bad choice or had a terrible experience. The bus station to the town is super close, and you can take the bus to explore the surrounding areas. But to be honest, besides hot air ballooning, there's really nothing much to do in this town. The nearby attractions are all quite boring, the kind where I'd take a quick look and want to leave. One night here is enough. The most important thing is the hot air balloon.

The hotel lobby felt like a cave. When checking in, you could ask the front desk about the hot air balloon launch status for the next day. The terrace has a great location and offers an excellent view for watching the hot air balloons. It's also just a ten-minute walk to the sunrise and sunset viewpoint. Being right in Göreme town, it's very convenient to get around.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the terrace offers a beautiful view. The common areas are also very appealing, and in the evenings, there's even a bonfire while you enjoy drinks – it creates a fantastic atmosphere! There are many cats around the hotel, all very friendly and well-behaved. I highly recommend the room type I stayed in; although not huge, it never felt damp, and the window view was stunning. This is a significant upgrade from the standard rooms, which only have small windows. Definitely worth it! The hotel breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the cats seemed very pleased too!
