We had a very enjoyable one night stay at Hotel Mirhav. The staff were very warm and friendly and the room was very comfortable. Our dinner was delicious and very enjoyable. Although the breakfast options were somewhat limited, as to be expected in a small boutique hotel, the food was very tasty. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay and one of our favourites on our trip through the South Caucasus region.

A lovely boutique hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. Instant coffee and tea, refrigerator, and TV. Hot water on request. No elevator but the stairs are easy. Good food for breakfast and dinner, however breakfast starts at eight. Lovely garden to enjoy.

This hotel is more on the rustic side. The room was a nice size and bed was comfortable with the mattress on the softer side. The room does not have air conditioning, so be prepared to sleep with an open window if you travel when it's warm. The breakfast buffet was very minimal . We only stayed 1 night to visit sites in the area.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night in late May, ‘22, while we were on a small group tour of the Caucasus. We enjoyed the hotel and recommend it. It has a warm, welcoming feeling to it that we appreciated, and the building itself has charm and character, something we value. This begins with the stone facade and continues to the small but inviting lobby decorated with interesting artwork. Our room (202) faced the street and overlooked the entrance, yet was quiet. The room was fairly large, with a comfortable queen bed and one twin, It was simply furnished with a small table and two chairs, two night stands with outlets, and a built-in closet. There was no safe or coffee making facilities. Wifi was strong and fast. The bright and clean bathroom was adequate sized with a pedestal sink and a small shelf above for storage. It had a corner shower. The hotel consists of an original part, where our room was located, and an additional building accessed across a small courtyard. There is a restaurant in the main building, and another in the additional building. Dinner was very good, as was the buffet breakfast. All in all, the Mirhav is a friendly, comfortable place with a welcoming character.

One night in this little oasis was not enough. Although the rooms are large, they are also basic, including the bathrooms. That said, the hotel overall was charming and the service was good. The restaurant was nice and serves a good, local breakfast. I would happily stay here next time I am in Goris.

We had a 2 night stay at the wonderland Mirhav Hotel. It was exceptionally clean, great service and had an authentic feel about the place. All the staff were great, the breakfast was lovely and fresh, whilst our evening meal and dessert was delicious too. Our children had a triple room with their Tatik, this was large, clean and had a lovely view. My wife and I had the deluxe double room with a balcony. This was a great room, great views and very clean too. Brilliant hotel, would definitely stay again.

Hotel Mirhav is a quality smallish hotel in central Goris consisting of two buildings with good sized rooms, some with mountain views, a pleasant garden for dining or just hanging out and a good restaurant. The rooms are clean and moderately furnished with a comfortable bed, desk and wardrobe. The bathroom is also moderately sized with a roomy shower with good hot water and pressure. The water was turned off during the early afternoon hours during our stay. Amenities include a hairdryer but no safe or hot water boiler. You can, however, get coffee before the stated 8:30 breakfast hour. The Wi-Fi connection works well. There were a couple of small tour groups staying at the hotel during our stay, but generally only about 6-8 in a group. There is no air conditioning but we didn’t need it either. There is limited parking on the property but street parking is also available. Breakfast Served in the dining room, you can also eat in the garden just off the dining room, the breakfast buffet included a nice selection of Armenian dishes such as pancakes with a number of toppings – cheeses, creams and honey - cheese and cold cuts including beef tongue, cereals, nuts and dried fruit, bread and butter, omelet and fried eggs, cucumbers and tomatoes, melon and cherries. Filtered coffee, tea, milk and juice are also available. The buffet is of good quality and well presented. Dinner On a pretty summer evening we chose to dine on their garden terrace. Most guests, however, were dining inside. The extensive menu includes mostly Armenian and regional specialties. We ordered a red bean (local Goris bean) salad, eggplant rolls (stuffed with a sour cream mixture that included walnuts), grape leaves with a veal mint mixture, potato wedges and a local trout (Ishkhan) from Lake Seven. Everything was well prepared and tasty. I didn’t care for the fish because it had a river mud taste, but Don thought it was fine. It was presented with vegetables and lemons. Service was slow to start because she was attending to other patrons but once the meal got going it all worked out.

Nice hotel with delicious dinner outside on the patio. Great house wine both red and white. Our room was quite small with no air-conditioning but it was cool at night so we were fine with the windows open. Very little noise until 7 AM. Breakfast is not until 8 AM so I Think they should have hot water available for coffee and tea in the morning. I went downstairs to the breakfast area at seven and they started a kettle of water for my instant coffee which was kind but should be done for everyone. Breakfast was outstanding but there was a group which made it very crowded. The staff are super friendly and it’s a very quaint hotel. No elevator so pack light!
