From the moment we arrived, we understood this wouldn’t be about having entertainment, but about immersing ourselves in the unique atmosphere of an historic building surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. And 1'000%, that was the case. Every detail was thoughtfully and uniquely designed, our room was quiet and spacious, the breakfast was a highlight—rich in variety and full of authentic local flavors, the staff were exceptionally friendly and the landscape amazing (particularly the night under the moon). We explored the forest along nearby trails, surrounded by nature’s calm and beauty. The only sounds we heard were the wind rustling through the trees and birds singing—pure serenity. And one of the most cinematic moments was seeing the hotel at night from the asphalt road—the soft, low lighting made it look like a scene from a film. Some practical notes: the available tables for non-resident visitors to enjoy a coffee are quite limited, and the free time slots for this are tight due to the meal schedule for guests. Also, while the building is stunning and full of character, it’s important to note that it was not designed with children in mind, but intended for adults patients.

After a hectic, child-filled 9-night Mediterranean cruise, my partner and I retreated to this serene mountain hotel — and we’re so glad we did. We had originally planned to stay at a beach resort south of Athens but changed plans last-minute for this Arcadian getaway. No regrets! The hotel is about 2.5 hours west of the Athens Piraeus cruise port (or the airport), most of it along a modern toll highway through the scenic Peloponnese Peninsula. The final stretch winds through small villages on a well-paved road. Just a few years old, the hotel is beautifully designed with warm woods and earthy tones. We had a forest-view room with a terrace — a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening wine. The room felt luxurious, with 11-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. With only 32 rooms, the atmosphere is intimate and tranquil. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, with à la carte options and terrace seating surrounded by forest. In the evenings, we enjoyed wine on the main terrace. In cooler months, there’s a cozy salon with a fireplace. The hotel must be magical in winter. We dined at the hotel on two nights. Reservations are required, likely just to help staff plan, as the restaurant is for guests only. Every dish we tried was excellent, and the service across the property was warm and professional. They also host a weekly late-night outdoor movie (10:30 pm), though we were too tired to join. We made time for a massage at the small spa (extra charge) and relaxed in the adjacent “cave pool” and outdoor sauna. The owner, who was onsite during our stay and joined us for a chat one evening, mentioned plans to add an outdoor pool — a great future upgrade. The atmosphere is calm and refined, supported by a no-kids-under-11 policy. We appreciated that, though one child present didn’t seem to meet the age requirement. We have no complaints. It was a wonderful stay, though we would recommend the hotel could promote the surrounding region a bit more for those unfamiliar with the area. One hesitation we had before booking was not knowing what there was to do during the day. They do offer a set of excursions in the area, but we prefer to explore independently. We found the impressive Kapsia Caves (about 40 minutes away, EUR 6 with a guide) and the charming village of Vytina just 15 minutes away, filled with shops, cafes, and restaurants. Though we had never been before, this region is our new favourite region of Greece. We'll be back!

This property is wonderful, the setting, the decor, service, just gorgeous. The food options were delicious but I would like to see a more varied menu for vegetarians, gluten free etc and an extended menu for lunch but overall this property is so unique and lovely I highly recommend it

The design and decoration were amazing. The location and view breathtaking. We didn’t stay in the hotel but we visited for a massage therapy and food/drinks afterwards. All the staff in the spa, reception and bar were polite and helpful. The spa venue was super clean with proper heating and lighting. The products they use were great eg the body oil was soft and very nourishing , didn’t feel sticky at all. The only disadvantage is that my therapist seemed to be in a rush and her movements weren’t so smooth eg rushed movements, skipped some areas of the body. The massage wasn’t bad but my overall feeling was that she wanted to finish her job asap. The cafe area had comfortable seating, relaxing vibes and nice music. We tried some drinks and snacks, all perfect. I would definitely recommend even for a visit if possible.

The hotel stands out for its unique infrastructure and location. The cuisine at its restaurant is truly gourmet-level, offering a culinary experience that is a cut above the rest. Despite being a mountainous destination, the hotel is easily accessible and provided us with a refreshing escape from the summer heat. However, what truly impressed us was the management's exceptional handling of an unexpected car issue we faced. They took full responsibility for the related costs, even though they could have easily chosen not to. This level of service reflects the high standards the hotel maintains across the board, which I personally experienced firsthand.

THIS HOTEL IS OVERBOOKED. We decide to visit the hotel claiming to be a 5 star hotel and end up being afraid of driving at night in the middle of nowhere... We arrive and the valet, collects our luggage and we go upstairs to a waiting room. There, a welcome drink awaits us. We are asked for our name and... surprise! They tell us that they are going to look at the reservation, and we spend more than half an hour there. We ask and they tell us that there has been no problem, just give them a few minutes. Finally a waiter comes to collect our drinks and the "manager" arrives to tell us that the reservation confirmed by them has not been seen and that the hotel is full. Earlier, a redhead told us that the server was down. A RESERVATION CONFIRMED, PAID AND RECONFIRMED SIX DAYS BEFORE. The hotel does not have rooms for such cases, nor did they offer us any kind of solution. A solution to which they are legally obliged. They simply took our bags back and put them in the car. In my life I have never been in a hotel like that nor suffered a situation like that. We were told that it was Booking's problem and that the confirmations are done automatically on their server. Booking has confirmed that they overbooked the hotel. WE WERE LEFT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, taking over two hours by car to the nearest town and praying that it would not get dark in the mountains. Sadly, we left an idyllic island in Greece to end up stranded in the middle of nowhere. Big mistake. Don't pretend to be something you are not, a hotel of that category always knows how to solve unforeseen problems. Here we were left stranded in the middle of nowhere, without being taken to a hotel of the same category or offered any kind of solution. I do not recommend this hotel. YOU CANT KNOW IF YOU ARE GOING TO GET IN OR NOT. The booking was confirmed and paid , we even received a message from them telling us about the hotel's activities, only to arrive and find ourselves stranded in the middle of nowhere. As of today, WE ARE STILL WAITING for a solution from the hotel.

Tucked away in the heart of the Arcadian mountains, Manna offers an unparalleled experience of tranquility, elegance and top-tier hospitality. The hotel itself, a former sanatorium, is seamlessly blending austere charm with modern sophistication. Nature takes center stage, from architecture to scents and sounds, offering the perfect spot to soak in the serene surroundings, whether you're enjoying a morning coffee at the lily pond or an evening glass of wine in your private terrasse. The service at Manna is nothing short of extraordinary. Starting with a warm personalised welcome, the attentive staff takes immense pride in providing a memorable experience. Mr Petros is a standout, catering your every need, whether it’s arranging a bespoke mountain excursion or swiftly producing an umbrella to keep you dry. Dining at Manna is a journey in itself. All dishes are crafted from the freshest local ingredients, from the hearty breakfasts to the dinners, offering an innovative approach to traditional mountain cuisine and a carefully curated wine list. In conclusion, Manna is more than just a luxury hotel, it’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave.

All the good reviews you have read about this place are true. It's a truly exceptional experience to stay at MANNA. All of the staff are so helpful and kind, eager to ensure you have a lovely time. Tonia at the front desk was a standout, giving thoughtful recommendations. As was Ismini, who was such a professional on the dining patio. And the Wellness team is brilliant. I think it was the best massage of my life!
