Standard room in the town centre, close to high street and bus/train station so very easy to get to. Located in a pub but was very quiet, has a beer garden and space for parking if needed. Spacious room for one person and has everything you need including a kettle, tv, wardrobe with plenty of storage, towels etc. Receptionists were kind and helpful, breakfast is available for extra but I didn't get it so cannot review.

The staff were vet grumpy, and did not make one feel welcome from the reception, restaurant and bar person, they were working on what was important to them not the customer.

Nice old vibe hotel
We stayed in this hotel for two nights it was lovely, central to amenities and people/staff were very friendly and very helpful, I do think the rooms need updating a little bit but they were comfortable and the TVs are not smart TVs so there is no option of netflix etc which most hotels have these days

Great Stay
Really welcoming staff, clean and comfortable room and lovely hot shower. The breakfast was extremely good with very helpful staff. Overall the stay was great and would recommend. Many thanks.

Bathrooms need som attention BUT what it lacks in refurb it makes up for 100 times over with the staff!!! They are incredibly warm and welcoming.
It was like visiting family so the imperfections are easy to overlook.
The breakfast was fantastic. Don’t go anywhere else. In fact I would actually happily just visit for the great start to the day!

The staff were efficient and friendly, and the pub serves good food. The room was a little dated but the bed was very comfortable and I had a pleasant stay here.

Read the reviews and saw all the Karens moaning about the hotel being tired and dated. Pish... it's an old building with loads of character. Give me that over a soulless modern box any day. The room was clean. Everything worked as it should. The bed was comfortable. And the staff were amazing. One of our party has mobility issues so on arrival they switched his room to the last available ground floor room when we realised there was no lift... very kind and accommodating. The food in the pub was great and the staff were pleasant and helpful. We will happily stay again.
