Cleanliness: Repeatedly described as "immaculate," "spotless," and "the cleanest hotel ever," with daily cleaning, fresh towels, and well-maintained facilities.

The hotel is very clean and well managed. There are five different pools and a couple of pool bars. Towels changed daily and bedding twice per week. Set up for self catering and is adequately supplied with cooker and microwave plus fridge. We ate in town so cannot comment on food. Supermarket nearby, town is seven minute walk although there is a busy road to cross. Bus stops are four minutes away, and buses run regularly although can be full at peak times and you have to wait for the next. The blue bus is number 7 to Corfu or Ipsos in the others direction. Both about 20 mins. Tickets purchased on bus are more expensive than buying at ticketing office in Corfu so it’s best to buy a few when you are in corfu town if you know where you are going over the next few days. You can also catch a green bus to the north by hailing it at the blue bus stop and paying the conductor on the bus. Green buses south are reached by walking from the blue bus station in Corfu ten minutes to Green bus station and also paying conductor. Timetable available from bus station however I will upload this years so you can see whereabouts you can travel to from this resort. Kavos took about 2 hours altogether. Gouvia is a little run down however the tavernas were all welcoming and all pretty much same prices and menu. The beach is okay, nice views, not sure I would swim there it’s sheltered bay with plenty of boats around . For a cheap break it suited us and we got most of Corfu explored on the buses and had a fabulous boat trip to Paxos which was a beautiful place.

It makes me sad to write a review that isn’t perfect but unfortunately we didn’t love our stay here. Firstly, we paid extra for the swim up room which specifically states that pool would be private for people who have paid for those rooms, however everyone was using it (I’m assuming because it was quiet as close to end of season). It makes it feel a bit insulting that they still charge a vast amount extra when we werent given the luxury. Secondly, the pool bar in this area closed midway through the week for season end, again, we paid extra for a particular room and got nothing to show for it. We understand things do close this time of year, but disappointed it wasn’t mentioned anywhere that the bar (on our side of the hotel) would close, or that the pool would be open to everyone. We never saw the pools cleaned once, and our bed sheets were also not changed, we were there 10 days. On some of the days the cleaners just came in and changed the bins, and didn’t even make the bed or mop the floors. The staff were really lovely and the hotel was in a good area for restaurants and bars. When the pool bar was open we got a really delicious club sandwich which was made from scratch. The actual hotel itself is nice, and the rooms are a great size.

Nice clean apartment (family room for 2 adults, 2children) with good kitchen and comfortable beds. We had a lovely balcony with a view of the pool, mountains and sea. There’s a very busy dual carriageway road to cross to get to the main part of Gouvia and the beach. Beach is pebbly so water shoes essential. I thought from the map there was another sandy beach in walking distance but that is a private beach for another hotel and can’t be used. Towels and bed linen changed once in our one week stay. Very limited furniture for clothes in room (one small wardrobe) so we put the kids clothes in there and adults had to keep everything in our suitcases. There is a mini market very close by and larger supermarket 10 minute walk away. We went to Aqualand by booking on the bus direct on their website and it worked really well and was a good day out. The main pool at the apartment isn’t very big and can get busy but that didn’t bother us. Plenty of sun loungers. Pool bar was reasonably priced and food was fine. There are extra charges on arrival for use of a safe and air con which I would prefer is just included in the price of the holiday. Overall we had a lovely holiday.

We had a really splendid time in Corfu at this hotel. My daughter and I had a swim up room and stayed for 2 weeks. The patio with sunbeds suited us well, but didn't get full sun until around 2pm. It was easy to sit in another area if you wanted a full day in the sun. Access to the pool was excellent and it was a super length to actually do some swimming in. Room facilities were great, the only thing I didn't like was the curtain in the shower, which constantly stuck its self to me. A glass door would be so much better. The apartment is very clean and has good facilities. Bigger cups and glasses would be beneficial, as the 3 in the cupboard were very small. Gouvia had many nice restaurants and it is easy to get the local bus to Corfu Town during the day or at night. 'Big green' supermarket to walkable and cheap, but there is a small supermarket really close to hotel too. Loved our holiday here, but now we'll have to have swim up rooms with our holidays in future, as we enjoyed it so much.

Lovely clean hotel and apartment was lovely, only small signs to find reception which is a bit of a trek with cases, my only issue was when we arrived we had to pay 10 euro per person for visitor tax which we knew about (you have to pay cash) but then charged 10 euros per day for air conditioning which I think is very expensive and wasn’t that great (we were there 10 days) and it would have been more if we opted to pay for safe which was tiny. Room was spacious and clean, and towels were changed daily. There were 4 pools and plenty of sun beds so there were no sunbed wars. Drinks at the bar were very expensive, we ate at the pool bar twice food was nice and reasonably priced, Christina was lovely. I thought Gouvia itself was a little run down on first appearance but was nice There is a little shop around the corner and a bigger supermarket on the Main Street ( a big green building with red writing) this is also where you will be picked up for excursions. Gouvia centre was only a short walk away but across a very busy road, there were plenty of bars and plenty of lovely places to eat and was good value for money. The beach was nice we paid 10 euro pp for a sunbed which included an umbrella and an ice bucket and a bottle of water which I was very impressed about. We caught a number 7 bus to Corfu town which was really easy 5 euro pp, Corfu was lovely, there are loads of shops and places to eat. We booked a trip to Albania which was worth it was a great day out, only a short ride on a ferry. # prepare yourself for putting the toilet paper in a bin not down the toilet 😳

We had a swim up pool which was fantastic. Rooms very clean and cleaned daily except Sunday. We went before english holidays so it may have been a little quieter, but still dont believe it would be over crowded. Staff very friendly. Pool side bar for food and snacks.

Just returned from 10 nights at this lovely hotel, the accommodation is lovely, clean and very comfortable, with a proper shower which for a 3 star in Greece is brilliant. Sunbeds a plenty and lovely pool to relax into, we didn't eat at the hotel apart from maybe an add bowl of chips, or a Greek salad which we thought was a bit steep at 10 euros (it was good) and we had breakfast on the last day at 14 euros, but it did come with everything. The hotel is perfectly placed for the main line Corfu bus and it only a 5 min walk into Gouvia its self. I cant fault our stay at all, would recommend.

Currently at this hotel, staying gor 5 days. We booked a swim up room which is great as you get the loungers too. There's no shortage of loungers for everyone else though. The room itself is a good size. Beds are very comfy. The staff are lovely and helpful and it's literally about 6 min walk to main shops and restaurants. The complex has 2 pool bars and 4 pools. If I was being very picky it has a slight chavy feel to it when loads of people are about, but fine when it's quiet. Its nice a quiet of a night as it's away from the main road. There is a tiny supermarket about 1 min walk away. Basically everything you need you will find here for about a 3 star hotel. Would recommend to others.
