What can I say more than that I am delighted with island of Mljet, nature on Mljet, National Park, hotel and especially kindness and professionalism of hotel employees. I stayed in hotel with my family and I am more than satisfied with cleanliness of rooms, hotel, but most of all, food in hotel. Saško Efremov (head chef), whom I had opportunity to meet, he and his team in kitchen, really do an excellent job. The food was varied and, most importantly, very tasty and with a fine taste. We will definitely be back next year. A warm recommendation for all future guests.

Stunning views of sea from room , right beside ferry terminal and fabulous sea swimming area . Staff were so nice and excellent value for money , worth the stopover on our way from Korcùla. We stayed dinner , bed and breakfast it was great and loved that fact right beside national park.

This is our 2nd time having our anniversary holiday here. If you like a quiet place with not many people and walking this place is for you. Before booking your holiday: There are some factors that you might have to think about that might be a deal baker for some people. What the holiday advert won't tell you is that this hotel is located on an island (Mljet at the town of Pomena) 3 hours away from Dubrovnik. This means that the hotel will organize a pick up to take you to Treznik (about 2 hours away from the airport) where you will be taken to the island via boat. The boat ride is fun the captain is really insightful and knows a lot about the island. Hotel amities: The hotel is right on the waterfront by the marina. It has one buffet restaurant, a beach bar, a lobby bar, lobby and a pizza restaurant next to it. There is a wellness center where you can get a massage (this is not included so you would have to pay for that) and a small gym (this is free to use from 11am to 4pm) There is a small paddling pool for the kids and a platform beach. On the platform beach the sunbeds are free. Access to the water is via steps as it is not a conventional beach but no issues if you can't swim as when you step down you can stand up in the water it's not too deep. Water Shoes are recommended as there are sea urchins and rocks. Things to do: If you book through Tui you will receive free admission to the national park and a free boat trip to the island inside one of the lakes. The island has many hiking and walking trails or you can hire a bike and cycle it. I would recommend walking as there are some trails that go up and down and I can imagine it could be hard to cycle. There are a lot of rental places to rent bikes, e-bikes, mopeds and cars even to explore the island. There is a catamaran that comes in at 10:35 every morning that takes you to Dubrovnik. It takes 1.5 hours to get there and costs between 20-30 (ppp way) euros depending on the season. This would be coming back at 16:15 to the island. Food: The food in the hotel is fresh and plenty of choices. We paid for half board but I'm sure you can upgrade to full board if you wanted to. One dissapointment in the buffet is that they don't serve complimentary water on the evening dinner so if you are on the budget you either eat without or pay for example a bottle of water 1l for 5 euros. Plenty of drinks choices including wines and beers. The restaurants around are really nice freshly prepared food prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend Pizza Levenat lovely service and great food. Rooms: As we are returning after a lovely holiday from last year we emailed the hotel and asked if we can have the same room as it was looking at the harbour and they have emailed back with the confirmation the same day. The rooms are spacious and have a mini fridge, safe, wardrobe, tv, some shelving space. There is no kettle and ironing board with iron but I would assume it would not be an issue i

Idyllic is the word for this hotel. 1. Location is optimal. We walked off the ferry without reservations (Croatia was a late addition to a well planning Greek islands’ itinerary), The staff was superb and fair in offering us a room. It is a very short walk to the Mljet park entrance which made each day convenient logistically. 2. Breakfast and dinner buffets were wonderful; we felt like we were on a nice cruise with friendly company. The staff were friendly and competent. 3. The room with the harbor view exceeded our expectations. For us, the character of this historic hotel is preferable to a modern corporate or smaller boutique hotel. The bathroom was fine; no problems whatsoever. The weather, well I have to thank someone else for the excellent weather. 🙏 Thank you hotel staff for a wonderful treat !

Whilst this hotel appeared a bit dated, everything worked and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The sun terrace and sea pool were excellent. The breakfast offering was very good. It was close to lots of restaurants. There was easy access to the National Park.

Excellent stay from start to finish. The journey across to magical Mljet island on the hotel boat was just the start of a great holiday. The hotel is in a fantastic idyllic location, the view from the room was stunning, the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly without exception. The bars and restaurants were very well run, the swimming area was great and the spa was a hidden gem. I’d never been to Croatia before, but if Hotel Odisej is typical of the country, then we’ll definitely be back! Thank you Hotel Odisej!

This hotel is in an enviable position, near the ferry port and close to the entrance to the national park. It has a swimming area with sun beds, although we were never able to get one, and lovely terraces above the beach, where it was easier to get a sun bed. Tricky to avoid people smoking though. The room , (double with balcony and sea view), was acceptable. The bed was large and very comfortable, and we had a decent view from the room. The air con was very good. No safe. The shower room was very small, with horrible smelling toiletries, and thin smallish towels. Towels were changed each day, and the bin was emptied and the bed made, but nothing was cleaned. The balcony was just about big enough. Rules to follow - no washing of clothes allowed, (everyone of course had swimming gear out to dry), no food or drink to be brought in…….not very welcoming points to read. My husband hated it all. The breakfast buffet was ok. We’ve had worse. The evening buffet was ok the first night, and the second night the main courses were not to our taste at all. And all the food was cold. Some of the waiting staff were useless, and some were excellent. One particular waiter was downright obstreperous with us, for no reason at all. For our third night we couldn’t face the buffet, so ate at the pizzeria that belongs to the hotel. For our fourth evening…..well, we checked out and went elsewhere, despite having paid for four nights. We stayed here so we could visit the national park. You obtain a voucher from the hotel to take to the ticket office, and that proves how long you’re staying for. You then pay 25 euros per person for however long your stay is, irregardless of the number of days. One day at the park? 25 euros. Seven days at the park? 25 euros. The staff at Reception are very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel needs a refurbishment and it would be great if there could be designated smoking areas on the terraces, and on the restaurant terrace.

Hotel Odisej Mljet is located in the little town called Pomena in the Mljet National Park, located in one of the islands of Dalmatian Coast. We came here only to have breakfast before our visit to the National Park. We went to the terrace and enjoyed a lot with breakfast buffet and with the views of the sea and the surroundings of the little town. Excellent and quite moments at the end of October.
