Thayers Inn really exceeded my expectations. The historical nature of the hotel means that the rooms are a bit small, but very high in charm. The mattress was a bit old, but my wife and I slept comfortably. There was also lots of hot water, though the shower took some figuring out.

This is one of the best locations in Littleton. If you’re looking for history and location this is the place. Great kind staff that are so friendly and helpful. Walkable to everything.

Beautiful hotel with lots of character and charm
Perfect for those looking for old-world charm in the beautiful town of Littleton. This was exactly what we’d hoped for in a building on the National Register of Historic Places. Lots of character, quirks, and an interesting history. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning kept us very cool on a 95 degree day!

Location was great, walkable to Main Street stores/restaurants. Room was small, bathroom (Shower and toilet) was so small that practically unusable. No elevator so getting baggage to room was dangerous using the stairs. Plays up being a historic site, but for the price was not worth that distinction. We checked out a day early because we couldn’t stand it any longer (gave up our 3rd night room fee).

Very old old building and there was issues with the bathroom tub. Not the cleanest places. Perfect location if you are looking to be in walking distance to downtown.

Great location, right in the middle of town on Main Street. Walking distance to almost everything in Littleton; a short drive for the rest. Continental breakfast. Great central location for hiking access and the activities of northern New Hampshire and Vermont. Wifi is decent, with hiccups from time to time. Negatives are you need to be there by 8pm to check in, which if you're coming from out of state can be a pain; there are no cable or broadcast TV channels on the in-room TV sets so if you want to watch anything other than streaming channels (none of them streaming versions of broadcast TV or cable networks) you will be out of luck. No local news, sports, weather, no national sports leagues or games. If you need to know the weather before your hike, you'll have to listen to the radio.

The welcome was very warm with lots of helpful information. Some of the staff took time to chat and answer questions about the history of the hotel and were very pleasant. The aircon is primitive but this is a very old building so don’t expect 21st century tech. The included continental breakfast was ok but they did have English tea so that gets an extra star from me. The rooms are quaint but as expected.

Property is 1850? Had to fight for parking with non guest parking. Up a hill not good for handicapped. Had to run water to get hot managed tapid after running 10 minutes. Noisy on 1st floor no idea about second floor.
