Alhambra Palace Hotel

The place is quiet and very close to the Alhambra Palace. Let's not forget the cleanliness of the place and the surrounding atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel's design makes you feel like you're in the Alhambra itself and its nights. There's a bidet in the bathroom.

So glad I picked this hotel! It's not just about its proximity to the Alhambra, but the sheer comfort you get from a well-established 5-star hotel. The room was cozy, the view was incredible, and the attention to detail was perfect 💯. The bathroom toiletries were all Guerlain, and the room even came with a capsule coffee machine, which was very convenient. Staying here means you don't have to bother climbing up to a viewpoint anymore!

Facilities: The facilities are not this hotel's strong suit. Given its long history, the amenities are quite old, but at least they are clean. Cleanliness: As expected from a luxury hotel, the cleanliness is impeccable. Environment: It offers a great view overlooking the entire old town, and the environment is excellent. Service: The service is also very good. The front desk staff are experienced and can help you plan your day's itinerary.

Great location next to the palace, but a bit far from the city center. The hotel's rooftop was closed, and the only viewing area was on the dining floor, which was quite a letdown from what I expected. Breakfast isn't recommended; the variety was very average. The bar's viewing platform offers much better views.

Excellent hotel! It's right next to a park, and the architecture of the entire hotel is stunning. The restaurant offers views of the snow-capped mountains opposite. It's also incredibly convenient for visiting the Alhambra, as you can walk directly to the ticket office.

So, so satisfied! Definitely book a city view room; the view alone is worth the price. I initially booked a larger, newly renovated room, but when I got in, it faced the street, and the bathtub was visible to passersby. I negotiated a change to a smaller room with an older bathroom, but the city view was amazing, and it even had a small balcony where you could stand outside and look around. It was a little scary, but so good, and the night view was beautiful too. I didn't book breakfast because I was worried I wouldn't wake up in time. But the restaurant was so gorgeous that I just ordered lunch there. The foie gras burger was surprisingly amazing, and both burgers I ordered were delicious. One came with sweet potato fries, and the other with regular potato fries – both were great. It's rare for a hotel to have such good food in its restaurant, and the view is totally worth it. Completely satisfied, completely recommend!

When booking, make sure to confirm if it's a connecting room! They gave us a connecting room, and the soundproofing was terrible; we could hear everything the next-door guests were saying! We immediately asked to switch rooms, but then they wouldn't give us a city view room, claiming they were fully booked. Yet, there were clearly un-checked-in guests. The front desk staff were quite unpleasant and weren't responsive to requests from Asian guests! Trip.com was great and kept trying to communicate on our behalf, but even they were speechless about the front desk's attitude! The room's hygiene was mediocre; the duvet cover and pillowcases weren't clean. Also, a staff member knocked on our door late at night, and couldn't even speak basic English, which was weird. The whole family had a bad experience!

The hotel is right at the entrance to the Alhambra, housed in a historic building. The lobby bar offers fantastic views, the rooms are very spacious, and the decor is done in a luxurious Arabian style. The service was excellent.
