I had a lot of expectations while booking this hotel,however I was disappointed on the first day itself , staff at the reception talking in their native language in front of guests ,they are not welcoming at all,you need to ask the reception for every little things everyday you need to go and ask for your room to be cleaned . I believe the staff should learn how to converse with Mauritian people as we are here to promote local ,a small indian lady doing rounds the table everyday at breakfast I was there for one whole week am a Mauritian and was on vacation ,she does not value local people at all, we pay the same money as the tourist and you all need to review everything there I work in hotel Industry too as a guest services manager and if the Gm is seeing this try to teach your staff how to go above and beyond guests expectations and acknowledge them ,while booking I mentioned there will be my partner birthday there was not even a birthday card in the room. I am quite disappointed restaurant breakfast is not worth for money for wat we pay ,everyday same thing only dinner I can gve an 8 on 10 and a big thank you to the restaurant staff .
