The golf course is great, the accommodation conditions are average, the curtains in the room are small and do not block light, and the noise is a bit loud

The room was amazing and we will definitely go again. The only thing is you had to leave the hotel to get to the restaurant and all of the other things that are available there.

So much of my stay was great: the bed was comfortable (and I'm picky), my unit had its own thermostat, there was a full kitchen with a dishwasher in a drawer, full-size fridge with freezer, microwave, stove, oven, Nespresso machine, kettle. Extra Nespresso pods were available from the front desk. There's also in-suite laundry, but I didn't use it.
A couple of minor details: 1) there's a cupboard over the kitchen sink so my hubby had to be careful not to bop his head when hand washing dishes. 2) the shower / bathtub has fully tiled walls and no grab bars, so be careful as the bathtub can be slippery. 3) there's not a lot of soft surfaces in the living/dining area of the suite so it can be a bit echo-y. 4) there's a strong smell in the hallway - I think from carpet glue.
I would have given a 5 star review, but I took a star off for my experience on the day of checkout. Check out is by 11 am, but housekeeping started knocking on the door at 10 am. Then maintenance came to wash the balcony glass - they thought we had already checked out. By 1030 am, our key cards were deactivated - good thing I stayed in our suite with our luggage while hubby went to get the luggage cart. By the way, they only have one luggage cart which was in use by someone else. All of this left a bad taste in my mouth, in what was otherwise a fantastic stay.

It was definitely not worth $438/night for studio. I should’ve booked airbnb with the same price. The bed was not Queen, it was double! Low water pressure on shower. The washroom fan was not working. Sound proof was week, we could hear everything from hall away, and upstair..
The place was clean though..
The heating system was also not perfectly working. Smelled burning.
I don’t think it was worth more than $200/night. Not a good value.

The Muskoka Resort Hotel is a pretty new build on an existing development. The room was pretty expensive (about $400) and the room was new and clean. I did thing there were some issues.
1. The coffee station in the room (which had a kitchenette) had no creamer options. When I called down to front desk they were unable to provide any. This was mildly annoying.
2. The HVAC system seemed loud. Much louder than other hotels I have stayed in.
3. The main hallways must have just been carpetted. There was a very stong smell (glue I think) associated with that.
I feel it was just a bit overpriced but this was a long weekend and a last minute booking.

Room finishes and workmanship was very poor. Uncomfortable mattress and pillows and low quality linens. We ate Dinner and Breakfast at the restaurant in the clubhouse. Breakfast was good, dinner was pretty bad. The views and pool area were nice. Golf course looked nice, but we don't golf. Definitely won't return.

This was a beautiful setting, but horrible stay. We had to start by cleaning the remaining items out of the kitchen from a previous guest...no problem. Then we had a power outage on one of the hottest days of the summer and couldn't stay in the room. Fine...we go to the restaurant, but can't eat because they had kitchen problems. Even having a simple glass of wine and leaving, we had to go searching for someone to pay. This isn't what I expected after paying over $600/night. Simply unacceptable.
