This time, we stayed in one of their apartments, which, while larger, in my opinion are more exposed to vehicle noise, which detracted from the charm of our stay. The breakfast was still varied and tasty. And the service was 10/10! The only drawback was that the bed wasn't as comfortable as on other occasions.

The staff here are the best i have ever encountered in Italy Warm and friendly .The entire hotel is immaculately clean .our room included a kitchenette and a washing machine which was so very nice .there is a supermarket just a short walk away the prices there are very good i compared with other supermarkets .I do feel a car is essential .i really enjoyed my morning cappuccinos and loved my lunchtime salads. My husband enjoyed the variety of pastries for breakfast To travel around a care is really necessary in my opinion or just stay by the pool for our stay .we always found a shady spot .sometimes the car park is at capacity

If you’re wanting a relaxed but really classy hotel this is it. You will need a car as it’s 20mins out of Catarina but very close to typical Sicilian seaside towns. We stayed in room 5. (My husband myself and our older son.) Room was super, cool, exceptionally clean and a great size with its own little courtyard and hot tub. It also has a very small kitchen with hob, sink and kettle. (There’s a great supermarket and fabulous bakers 5minutes walk away) We stayed last week in June first week in July 2025. This is not a busy hotel with entertainment and activities, it’s quiet, attracts international couples and families but just really lovely. The pool was quiet most days and gorgeous to swim in and there’s a cracking view of mount Etna from the roof top. There was always sun-beds free regardless of what time we arrived at the pool. The housekeeping staff work really hard and it shows, the reception were super helpful with lots of info. The breakfast and dinner staff were not gushy with customer service but thoughtful, warm and efficient - just the way we like it. The breakfast was more continental but of good quality. The restaurant in the evening very lovely, great food but a little posh for us. The ice-cream and fruit we had at lunchtimes was delicious! We really enjoyed our stay - even if the Sicilian driving was a little crazy.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From the gorgeous setting to the beautiful suite and the amazing staff it was truly wonderful. A small boutique hotel amongst a beautiful setting. Fillipo (taxi driver) who picked us up from the airport was generous with his information on the route to the hotel. He and the staff went beyond their duty to ensure our stay was unforgettable. Melissa and Chaira - so many thanks for your hospitality- truly unique service. The upgraded room was the icing on the cake! We will definitely be back! Karen Milner

Food / dinner was out of this world. Chef is a culinary genius. Staff very friendly and organised a car, trips etc. They upgraded our room to an apartment. Would fully recommend to anyone going to sicily to use this as a base for travelling. Amazing.

The hotel is in a residential area which is usually very quiet with the exception of a few neighbors dogs that bark quite a bit. My room was very comfortable with a kitchen and living room. The 2 pools are beautiful. The service is wonderful. I'd love to see lounge chairs on the roof, it's a beautiful view. The breakfast is plenty to start the day. The gelato is amazing. Air conditioning worked very well. I'd highly recommend.

Superb seven night stay at this very stylish boutique hotel a little to the north of Catania. Room was huge with own walk-in wardroom, roll top bath and decent sized private garden. Probably the best lit hotel room I have ever stayed in - took a few minutes to figure out quite what all the switches controlled. Food was superb, lovely buffet breakfast with quite a range of bakery, yoghurts and cold meats. Dinners were excellent with amuse-bouche at the start and specials often available (swordfish steak was excellent). Comprehensive list of Sicilian wines - I think I wiped out the stocks of 'Nozze d'Oro' ! Service was terrific - great restaurant staff, hard working cleaning staff and a very good reception team. The latter were able to sort everything from private tours up Etna, taxi requests, transfer times back to the airport, and Postcards to be posted. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. In terms of location, either a walk (c45 mins) or a taxi to Acireale railway station, and hence Trentitalia trains North or South. When we return to Sicily I would hope to stay here again !
