What a wonderful hotel in the Italian countryside. So relaxing and tranquil. The spa was so fantastic. The staff was excellent, and I loved the free mini bar. We received cookies with nuts when we checked in. I told them I was allergic, and they gave us a bottle of wine instead, which I really appreciated. It's such a magical place.

The Relais is a particularly beautiful, a well-manicures retreat in one of the most beautiful regions of Piedmont. The service is perfect, always friendly and accommodating, the cuisine excellent. The spa is unexpectedly spacious by Italian standards and generously equipped. We enjoyed spending a lot of time there. One thing remained unclear to us: if you want to use the sauna, you have to make a reservation. But we were never there alone. Anyone who is in the swimming pool can also go to the sauna. It's a constant coming and going like in a coffee shop. We simply never understood their concept of reservations. And a big downer: the mattresses were by far some of the hardest ones we've ever slept on (or tried to sleep on). Not once did we enjoy a restful night's sleep. It remains a mystery to us who likes (and buys) such mattresses. But hey, if you like hard mattresses, this is your place :-)

This is a great place for a relaxing break and friendly for families, solo travelers or couples. Set in the hills surrounded by vineyards, the location is very calm and relaxing. There are 2 restaurants which are both excellent - a 2 star Michelin one which is fine dining, and a bistro serving excellent local dishes. The outdoor pools are clean and well maintained, and a great spot for lounging in good weather. Nice indoor and outdoor bar for aperitif. The spa is wonderful - great hammam and a sauna. Lovely pool with different types of jacuzzi and showers, and nice comfy chairs for lounging with a view. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Many have a terrace. Overall a lovely place for a short break.

Overvalued hotel with limited facilities. Rooms are poorly equipped, especially for business use: no plugs at hand, no office chair, no coffee/tea facilities, not good noise insulation, and no temperature control. Good service and very clean. Good SPA with nice view on the surroundings. The Bistrot is also overvalued: fancy cuisine with impressive technique in the preparation but absolutely evident ignorance of healthy foods components balancing. The surroundings are rich of valid alternatives at lower cost. Sorry to say, but traditional cuisine in the area is better worth than the Chef's aesthetic acrobatics.

Amazing place! One of my favorite hotels in the world. We’ve been staying here once a year for the past 4 years and every year it gets better. Love the spa! The 2 start Michelin restaurant is unbelievable! And the staff are the best! Overall is a great value

Perfect place to break a bit the routine, few people, good food at the bristot. We will come back for sure, so relaxing! Perfect place to start exploring Piemonte, Monferrato and Langhe. very reccomended expecially for couples!

Everything was great: rooms, spa, restaurant. Personnel very kind. I would suggest it for a business or personal trip. Great location very peaceful and nice places nearby. Very well renovated. Monferrato is a great place. I will definitely come back

This hotel has potential with its beautiful exterior, but it lacks a clear concept. Inside, the design feels random, and the staff seems disorganized. The rooms are impractical, with split levels and limited storage. The spa is decent, but some showers don't work. The bistro disappointed despite its Michelin stars. Breakfast service needs improvement. This hotel needs a new manager, a clear vision, and better staff training. Overall, it's more like a three-star experience at a five-star price.
