The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. The beds were super comfortable and gave a great nights sleep. The grounds were a delight to wander round. The food was amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly courteous and attentive. The owners meet and chat with the guests to check that all is well and information and advice is readily available for the local area and your onward travel. Great place to stay and plenty to do locally. One not to be missed I wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a great time Angela Trevor and Tracey

Absolutely outstanding place whilst we travelled with another couple on our Garden Route trip. Could not fault the lodge. Beautiful rooms and scenery and food to die for. The service is second to none and you will not be disappointed. Our evening waiters Leonardo and Rish were excellent and a credit to the team.

We had a fantastic stay at Lily Pond for four days in March 2024 in every respect. First of all, the great accommodation in a fantastic location, near the coast and the beautiful Nature's Valley. Not only the service and friendliness of the staff were great, but also breakfast and dinner. We will definitely return on our next visit to South Africa. What a great experience!

Loved our 2-night stay at Lily Pond Country Lodge very much! Absolute stunning scenery at the pond in the evenings while having some perfect gin tonics and great chats with the super friendly staff! Room was great, had some very good sleeps! Lodge is perfectly situated for trips to Tsitsikamma NP and Nature Valley - highly recommended! Chef Randall is a real master chef - dinners were absolutely outstandig! We'd love to come again!

We loved the Lily Pond Country Lodge. It was really tranquil. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Great breakfast and evening meal. Nice setting with swimming pool and comfy sun beds. Thoroughly recommend.

Sent in beautiful surrounds with the lily pond the main feature, Lilly Pond Country Lodge is a superb venue in the Tsitsikama Nature Reserve. The layout is truly stunning with very comfortable and quite rooms, excellent staff and service. The restaurant is excellent although a limited choice with either a set 4 course menu or a choice of just of any of the four courses on their own. Alternatives are a drive away!. The nearest beach Natures Valley/Grootrivier Estuary is a short drive away and is a wonderful beach. Nearby also is Monkeyworld and Birds of Eden - well worth a visit.

This hotel was very different to the others we stayed at on our trip. It's really remote - a long way from Plettenberg Bay - but lovely if you want the peace and quiet and nothing around. Great to watch the baboons playing in the grounds! The staff were SO brilliant. We had a couple of little "glips" while we were there and they couldn't have done anything more to help you - they were absolutely lovely. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip - really nice room to eat and the food and service was lovely. The dinner was also really, really lovely - compliments to the chef!

We booked into this fantastic hotel for two weeks in Feb 2024.It's perfectly located, only 10 mins from Nature's Valley and our friends and 15 to 20 mins from Plett. With only 10 rooms the vibe is relaxed and peaceful.The hotel itself is low level and dotted with beautiful African art.The Gardens too are lovely.The rooms themselves are tastefully laid out and immaculately furnished. Bronwan set aside room 4 for us, which is the quietest of the Garden rooms.It was wonderful in every way.The staff were courteous and helpful and the breakfast superb.We would not hesitate to stay here again when we're next in SA

What a delightful find in such a beautiful setting...so tranquil with the ponds and layout of the property...very friendly and welcoming owners and staff. And then beautiful beach on their doorstep in nature's valley. The food was great and enjoyed 2 evening meals too. Thankyou
