Brand new hotel right in Greensboro downtown, can explore the historical area on foot. Large room, good breakfast. Nice gym. During my stay I was charged on my credit card something not supposed to be charged and without my previous approval and signature, this is not professional at all. Luckily I saw my credit card statement before to leave the hotel so I complained…watch out for unauthorized charges!!!

Cleaning policy is every other day. However, this was not shared at the time of check in. When I inquired about having the garbage removed, I learned of the policy. Front desk offered excuses and a very casual demeanor to my request. Eventually, the hotel said they’d send someone up. No one came to pick up the garbage that evening. I even separated the bag from the can to make it easier. When hotel room service resumed the next day, it was picked up. The previous crew waited for house cleaning to pick it up the next afternoon. Absolutely unacceptable!

This is the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. The location is perfect. Walkable to great restaurants, museums, downtown etc. The hotel itself was immaculate. The lobby is beautiful and very welcoming staff. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very nice especially the omelette. I loved everything about this hotel.

What's not to like? Pretty new hotel; parking connects directly into the hotel. Wanna feel safe? They're across the street from the police station. Staff was cheerful and helpful.
But the BEST thing about the hotel was the easy 2-3 block walk -- at most -- to many breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, and what not. Just a delightful discovery, and we had no idea -- we had just booked it because we like Hampton Inns and thought it looked convenient for an event we had to attend. But both the hotel and the area around it vastly exceeded our expectations.
