Hotel de Oude Molen

Staying at this country inn was a warm and very enjoyable experience. My room had all of the basics and was spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were just perfect - fresh fruit, juice, egg an yogurt, with breads, meats and cheese. The coffee was was the best. Then, there was the restaurant. It was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. The food was excellent. I had pork that was perfectly cooked, as were all of the sides. Of particular note was the service - attentive, helpful but not intrusive. This was better service and food than in most 5 star restaurants. My thanks and compliments to the management and staff for their hospitality. I had a wonderful stay. My only complaint is that I could not have stayed longer.

I recently had dinner with the family for my father's birthday. I knew the place when it belonged to the previous owner, but the new owners have refurbished it very nicely and given it a contemporary look. The staff and owner are incredibly welcoming and very attentive in service. There are nice dishes on the menu, whether you want to go for fish or meat. I had as a starter the Vitello Tonnato, consisting of Veal fricandeau, tuna tataki, tuna mayonnaise, and capers. A delicious combination and very tasty. I can't say other than that this food cafe is an excellent place to chat while enjoying a bite and a drink.
