Our time at Cap Maison was our favorite part of our 3 week vacation. We started on the Ritz Carlton cruise, then to the Fairmont Barbados, and finished at Cap Maison. We definitely saved the best for last! The property is beautiful, calming, and quite. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Both of the pools were nice, rarely busy, and we were always able to find a lounge chair. The Cliff restaurant had amazing food and a stunning ocean view. Also they had great live music both times we ate there. The Naked Fisherman was also great. Keep in mind that it's located down quite a few stairs on the semi-private beach just below Cap Maison. Our room (#25, Oceanview Suite with Pool) was super spacious, with a huge living room, small kitchen and dining area, and 2 outdoor patios. The only drawback for me was that it was fairly hot, and only the bedroom area has air conditioning. If we stay again, I would prefer a room that had full A/C. The bed and pillows were super comfy and we slept well while we were there. As for location, keep in mind you are 1 1/2 to 2 hours from Soufriere, where the Pitons and most of the waterfalls are located. We were looking to chill out for a few days at a resort, so this place was perfect for us. Side note: if you're prone to bug bites, come prepared. They provided some natural bug spray, but it didn't do much to keep the mosquitos away. Again, if I go back I will bring industrial grade chemicals (DEET) to avoid the 30+ bug bites I ended up with. Overall we loved this place, would definitely come back, and can see why they get such high reviews.
