"No, there are supermarkets and many restaurants within 3 minutes. There is a restaurant run by a Korean couple 3 minutes to the left of the hotel downstairs. They serve Japanese, Chinese and Korean food. The taste is good, but the price is a bit expensive. You can try it. The only downside is that public transportation is inconvenient, and you must take Uber or Didi."

"Although the hotel is old, it is still relatively clean. The exhibition hall is across the street. I have to praise the breakfast here. There are many varieties. Later, I went to hotels in other cities in Mexico. The breakfast was really different from here, especially the vegetable juice. I had to have a cup every day. Later, the vegetable juice I drank in other hotels was really hard to describe, not only in appearance but also in taste. Highly recommended."

"The ATM machine in the hotel is broken, so I couldn't withdraw money. The restaurant downstairs tasted good, the green Taco was delicious, the fish was not recommended, it was all marinated and too salty, the complimentary squid was very good"

GGuest UserFood at the hotel wasn't very good but it was cheap hotel was in a relatively good location but the rooms didn't look like the pictures. There's a lot of junk on the same floor as the swimming pool. The curtains could use a good cleaning the room doesn't look sparkly. I like the colonial architecture and the location but I would not stay there again I would stay someplace a little nicer. My room was also pretty small.

Although there is a curfew, you can call them to wake them up between midnight and 07:30 if you want to go out or go back in.

GGuest UserOverall it was a great experience, the location was gold, very walkable and close to lots of cute cafes, restaurants and Avenida Chapultepec. The bed was really comfortable and the shower pressure was great. I loved that they had a sauna and pool, but the pool was a bit dirty one of the days I was there (though the day prior to that it was clean). The staff was incredibly helpful and the food was ok, thought a bit pricey. The ac worked wonderfully.
I could see myself returning!

MMelaniThe location is really good, plenty of food and drink options in walking distance. I liked the area! But the hostel could be definitely cleaner, especially the common space. The private room was ok-ish, but in the garden area and common space impossible to stay, full of cat food and smelly old stuff. Breakfast is a joke but didn’t expect much. There is a very nice breakfast place nearby!

The only drawback was the kitchen utensils (suites), initially they were not there, and when they were requested they did not arrive exactly the ones that had been requested, the clarification was made and they never took the rest.

The hotel is also very close to the exhibition hall, about 10 minutes walk. There is a shuttle bus to the exhibition.
The hotel front desk also speaks very good English, and there are different Mexican food for breakfast every day.
There is a Decathlon behind the hotel, an OXXO supermarket on the side, and a larger supermarket across the road.

JJosh GerstlThe location is perfect, right next to all the action in the Historic center of Guadalajara! Fortunately, there isn't very much noise from the city so you can sleep very well.
This is a total Greezer Style Hostel, one needs to know this, the building is old, everything is unkept but still clean enough and comfortable enough for someone on a low budget and/or Vagabond lifestyle.
The staff of young men were very kind and warm, the internet was strong and the shower has hot water which is necessary in winter.
It wasn't so clean but it is a hostel and quite possibly it was cleaned in the morning and by nightfall, it has become a bit dirty from all the travelers so a bit of advise to the hostel: if you are busy, please clean once in the morning and once in the evening, this would greatly improve our bathroom experience!
