The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining options nearby; just a short walk to the right from the hotel, you'll find numerous hot pot restaurants, and they taste pretty good too. However, the hotel's cleanliness was far from satisfactory. After checking in, we discovered the bathroom floor was damp, and there was a foul odor coming from the drain. We called the floor attendant to take a look, and she claimed there was a leak somewhere. I suggested we change rooms, but she came into the room and told us we couldn't because we had already disturbed the bedding. She then said she would 'handle it' for us shortly, and after a while, she simply wiped the floor with a towel and declared it 'fixed.' This clearly indicates a lack of proper management at the hotel. Additionally, the breakfast restaurant was quite a maze to get to, and the breakfast itself was just average.

Guangyuan Hotel is conveniently located, just a 12-minute walk from the train station or a quick 6 RMB taxi ride away. While the facilities are a bit dated, the overall stay experience was fantastic! 1. **Excellent Location**: It's only a 3.5-minute walk to the riverfront, and there are countless delicious eateries in the vicinity – super convenient! 2. **Incredible Value**: Priced beautifully at just over 100 RMB, it includes free parking and breakfast for two. The breakfast was surprisingly substantial and satisfying, featuring eggs, a variety of hot and cold dishes, congee, cold noodles, and fruit for your vitamins. With such a generous spread, you really can't ask for more! 3. **Comfortable Stay**: The room linens were clean and comfortable, the central air conditioning was powerful and efficient, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Definitely a big thumbs-up! 4. **Minor Drawback**: No toilet seat covers. 5. **Highly Recommended**: I'll certainly choose Guangyuan Hotel again on my next trip to Guangyuan!

The room was awful. There were no screens on the windows, the AC unit was incredibly noisy, and I found hair under the sheets.

The ladies at the hotel and the parking attendant were all incredibly warm and helpful. The room was spotless, and the location is fantastic – it's just a short walk to the river. In the evening, after dinner, it's lovely to stroll along the riverside, enjoy the breeze, and perhaps have some tea.

What a shame for this landmark old hotel. It feels like there are plenty of staff, but no actual management. Upon entering the lobby, you're hit with a strong, musty odor. The guest rooms were even worse – absolutely filthy and rundown. With proper management and oversight, it wouldn't have deteriorated to this extent. While the bedding seemed clean enough, the fixtures and facilities were clearly neglected.

The location is incredibly convenient, with everything accessible on foot. It's just a short walk from Hejie Market and Fengxiang Tower. The night view from Fengxiang Tower is fantastic, and in the evening, you can enjoy a pleasant stroll along the Jialing River.

I genuinely hesitated after reading many negative reviews about this hotel. However, my actual stay proved otherwise: the hotel not only boasts an excellent location but was also spotlessly clean, offered ample parking, and the rooms were remarkably spacious. The bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation, and breakfast was quite good. The only slight drawback was that breakfast wasn't served in the main building, which was a minor inconvenience as it required a short walk to a separate building. From our window, we enjoyed fresh flowers on the terrace and even glimpses of mountain views diagonally opposite. The room was very quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. This hotel offers exceptional value for money and is highly recommended.

Public transportation is excellent with many bus routes nearby, and it's close to the high-speed rail station. Plus, it's within walking distance of the river, making evening dining incredibly convenient.

While the facilities might seem a bit dated compared to newer hotels, as a long-standing government guesthouse, its standards are definitely reliable. The reception lobby is spacious, the corridors are carpeted, and the rooms themselves are generously sized. Bathrooms feature a convenient wet/dry separation, the bedding is comfortable, the air conditioning operates quietly, and the overall soundproofing is excellent.

It's also quite close to both Fenghuang Mountain Park and Qianfo Cliff Scenic Area. Despite being on a main street, it was surprisingly quiet. You'll find plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in the vicinity. My first night elsewhere was a disappointment, so I decided to switch here for the remaining three nights, and I'm so glad I did! For less than 200 yuan, the room offered fantastic value for money.

My smartwatch went missing at this large hotel. I find it absolutely incredible that even such an inexpensive item could disappear. On top of that, the front desk staff were impatient and dismissive, basically implying that no one would bother stealing such a cheap item from their hotel. I'm speechless. This was truly the worst hotel experience I've ever had.
