Yushe Hotel (Guangzhou Beijing Road Tianzi Wharf)

The hotel's location is pretty good, quite close to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and Tianzi Pier. The room was clean and well-equipped. Although breakfast was simple, it tasted good. This room type isn't very spacious and felt a bit cramped, but the price was great, offering good value for money. If you look closely at the pictures, you'll see anti-collision corner guards installed on the small counter under the TV, which shows a thoughtful service.

I've been booking rooms on Trip.com for over a decade, and this has to be the worst experience ever. I guess it's my fault for being in such a hurry and not checking the 4.1 rating; I usually book places with 4.5 or higher. The room was indescribable—it couldn't have been smaller, with no space even for a suitcase. I felt the room size didn't match the description. There were no towels provided either. But the absolute worst part was that the room faced the street. Starting at 5 AM, cars were honking non-stop, making it impossible to get any rest...

Facilities: So-so, a bit old. Environment: About a 700-meter walk to the subway station, passing by many local eateries packed with people. The hotel room didn't get any sunlight, the window was just for show and faced the opposite building. The lighting in the room was also very dim, which gave it a really unpleasant feel. The room was also small. Service: Limited breakfast options, and the taste was just average.

The room was neat and clean, and the front desk staff were very polite and courteous. It's conveniently located near Beijing Road subway station, with lots of great food options nearby. The hygiene was also excellent, and all the cleaning staff were very friendly.

The hotel is about 700 meters from Beijing Road Pedestrian Street Station on Line 6, making it very convenient to get to by shared bike or on foot. Plus, there are plenty of small and medium-sized restaurants on both sides of Dezheng Zhong Road, where the hotel is located, so finding a place to eat is super easy.

The room facilities are really outdated, and the surrounding area is run-down too. It's quite a trek to get to Beijing Street and back on foot. I hope they'll improve the in-room facilities and replace the bedding with new ones.
