Citynote x hotel(Guangzhou Beijing Road Pedestrian Street The Grand Buddha Monastery Branch)

The location speaks for itself—absolutely prime 👍🏻. The room size is decent, and the layout is very well done. Our room was the first one near the lobby (breakfast is served right there, and I initially thought it would be noisy, but it was well within an acceptable range). You can really tell that guests are considerate these days 👍🏻—no loud shouting or commotion... The hotel breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks are all very thoughtful touches... All in all, I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Guangzhou. Great value for money.

Pros: 1. The hotel's location is excellent, right downstairs from Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. Across the street is the Grand Buddha Temple, and you can see a panoramic view of it from the hotel lobby. 2. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks are provided. The late-night snacks include traditional sweet soups, which are quite good. 3. Since the hotel is relatively new, it features smart toilets and high-speed hair dryers, making for a more comfortable stay. 4. The front desk staff are quite friendly and promptly address any issues raised. 5. There's a laundry room, which is very convenient. Cons: 1. Although we booked a room with an outdoor window, the view outside was of a parking lot. We could hear the electronic announcements when cars were leaving. Also, it was very close to the building opposite, so there was practically no natural light. 2. The hotel occupies middle floors of an office building, so you have to use the office building's elevators. Sometimes, during peak hours, waiting for the elevator can take quite a while. We even encountered an elevator malfunction where it would only go up and not down, forcing us to go to the top floor and then come back down. 3. The hotel's ventilation is not ideal. 4. Noise insulation issues: While we couldn't hear conversations from next door, the outdoor noise was very loud. We constantly heard a loud buzzing sound at night. Furthermore, the indoor bathroom lacks proper sound insulation, so any use of water creates a lot of noise.

The biggest surprise during this stay was the complimentary breakfast! The restaurant was clean, and the breakfast spread was comprehensive, with congee, noodles, pastries, fruits, and beverages all available. Hot food was replenished promptly, and the taste was excellent. The service during breakfast hours was also very attentive. Having breakfast included definitely enhanced the overall happiness of our stay. The whole experience was great and worth recommending!

This Hino X Selections is my top choice for business trips! The location is impeccable, with convenient access to the Beijing Road business district. The rooms are clean and tidy, with a separate wet and dry area, soft and comfortable bedding, and excellent soundproofing, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The staff are responsive and provide thoughtful service. The amenities are comprehensive, including 24-hour coffee. Overall, it's a perfect experience and worth repeat stays.

My stay at City Note in Guangzhou was a fantastic experience overall! The hotel environment was comfortable, the room was clean and tidy, and the location was very convenient. I especially want to praise the young staff here; every single one was polite and great at conversation, with a kind and natural service attitude. During my stay, they not only helped solve problems but also proactively cared about how we were feeling. Our chats were very relaxing and they genuinely provided a lot of emotional support. 🥰 The entire check-in process felt very comfortable and warm. It wasn't the typical formulaic service, but rather one that truly made guests feel cared for. I was very satisfied with this experience, and I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Guangzhou. Highly recommended! ❤️
