Hampton by Hilton Guangzhou Dongxiaonan

Most hotels have similar facilities these days, so it really comes down to the service. I booked this hotel for a business trip and checked in quite late. The front desk staff, Xiao Zhu, provided excellent service, which definitely improved my check-in experience.

Hotel location: The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the subway station, making it convenient for getting around. It's not too far from Chimelong, Canton Tower, Shamian Island, and the Outlets. Dining options: There are many dining places nearby. Given the number of old residential areas around, these are likely local restaurants frequented by residents. Noise level: Due to its proximity to the street, rooms might experience some noise. Room cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy. Service quality: The front desk staff had a good attitude and accurately answered guests' questions. Facilities usage: The public area in the lobby is spacious and suitable for light work. The room itself is quite large, and the bed is very comfortable. I called the front desk and was told screen casting wasn't possible, but it actually worked. Breakfast review: The breakfast was high quality and met the 'Hampton' brand standards. Five-star rating.

I only stayed in Guangzhou for three days and two nights this time, and I chose to stay at the Hampton by Hilton Guangzhou Dongxiaonan. It's just a 10-minute walk to Dongxiaonan Metro Station, which has both Line 2 and Line 10. Line 2 is only 6 stops from Guangzhou South Railway Station, making it super convenient for catching high-speed trains. Getting to various attractions by metro is also very easy, usually within 50 minutes. If you prefer a taxi, it takes less than 20 minutes to get to places like Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Dafo Temple (Beijing Road Pedestrian Street), Sacred Heart Cathedral, and Shamian Island, and the fare is always under 17 RMB. The service was excellent, and the complimentary buffet breakfast was varied enough to satisfy different tastes. The hotel environment is quite good. On weekends, a room typically costs 400-550 RMB, and it should be 100-200 RMB cheaper on weekdays. It offers great value for money! If you're coming to Guangzhou for business or travel and want to save money while still having convenience, the Hampton by Hilton Guangzhou Dongxiaonan is an excellent choice!

The facilities are brand new, the environment is very quiet, and it's exceptionally clean. The service was very thoughtful; the lovely lady at the front desk upgraded my room for free when I checked in, and they even brought complimentary fruit to my room in the evening. Absolutely fantastic!

The room was tiny, the carpet was dirty, and the bathroom door design was impractical.

The hotel is clean, and they have a robot that delivers food. Housekeeping staff Wu Xinghua provided exceptional service – she was very friendly and helpful. When I asked for extra bottled water, she said the daily complimentary four bottles had already been provided, but still kindly gave me an additional four bottles. Thumbs up! 👍

Really good! The hotel was very clean, and there's a lot of great food nearby. It's convenient for getting around, just a few minutes' walk to a food street. The late-night street food stalls are a highlight.

A very standard Hampton by Hilton experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and odorless. The public areas were tastefully designed, simple yet cozy, and had a nice understated charm. All the staff went out of their way to provide the best service, even meticulously tidying the trash bins daily. Plus, free parking is a really thoughtful touch. I especially have to commend the breakfast – it was absolutely amazing! This complimentary breakfast surpasses over 90% of paid breakfasts at 4 or 5-star hotels. The variety was extensive, and the food tasted excellent. The ribs and chicken feet were on par with what you'd find in a good restaurant. For a free breakfast, it honestly feels like they're doing charity. I genuinely and highly recommend it.
