After a week-long trip to Shunde and Guangzhou, I absolutely have to write a heartfelt review for the Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was touched by the thoughtful service of manager Nancy Zhang. She proactively upgraded my room, and her kind smile and genuinely warm words made me feel so welcome! This kind of hospitality, treating guests like family, instantly made me feel incredibly positive about Guangzhou! Room Experience: Quiet, Spacious, and Impeccable Details I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I opened the door! The room was over 50 square meters, with a city skyline view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was as soft as clouds, and the bathroom and walk-in closet were spacious. What impressed me most was the excellent soundproofing – once the windows were closed, I couldn't hear any street noise, ensuring a great night's sleep until morning! Hidden Gem: A Taste of Home Upon Arrival Just after I finished unpacking, Manager Nancy sent a staff member with a seasonal fruit platter to my door! "Hello, these are our freshly arrived grapes, bananas, and honey oranges today. Please try them and see if you like them~" This feeling of being looked after was truly more touching than any luxurious amenity! Prime Location: Walking Distance to Zhengjia Plaza The hotel's location is fantastic! It's only a 10-minute walk downstairs to Zhengjia Plaza, a 4A scenic spot, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. It's also close to the subway and 24-hour convenience stores. In the evening, I strolled out to buy some traditional local desserts, experiencing the vibrant local life of Guangzhou – a perfect immersion into the local culture. From Nancy's five-star-plus service to the quiet comfort of the room, and the convenient location! True luxury is making people feel valued, both physically and mentally. Sofitel Guangzhou is truly worth it! 👍

The decor and service were decent, but it's not close to any subway stations and there are no restaurants nearby. The cleanliness was just okay; I found a rusty hair clip from a previous guest in the bathroom that hadn't been noticed, and it remained there for my entire two-night stay.

The facilities are outdated, and the decor is very old-fashioned. The caulking around the cabinets and mirrors is cracked, and the film on the bathroom walls is peeling off, with half of it not even applied. The living room TV's sound system is just for show... it definitely doesn't meet five-star hotel standards. The cleanliness is barely acceptable; there are many stains on the carpet, but it seems like they've tried their best to clean it. The location is just about okay. Service was only good during check-in. The after-sales service is quite mediocre, and it's really annoying how they hound you for good reviews 🙄. Instead of chasing good reviews, they should focus on genuinely providing good service.

The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was enveloped by a strong festive atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and check-in was very efficient. They even proactively helped with my luggage. The entire experience was incredibly friendly and pleasant. The environment is also great, and in the afternoon, there's a lovely foreign lady singing. The bed is super comfortable; the 2-meter king-size bed is perfect for families with children. The environment is truly excellent, and everyone is so enthusiastic. Mia and Jeya at the front desk were so helpful with everything. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

I brought my family along to celebrate the New Year here. Outside, there might have been fireworks, but inside, it was just the quiet comfort of books and warm tea. In this non-stop world, sometimes being able to simply zone out for a bit, or slowly enjoy a cup of tea without rushing, is truly something to celebrate. The New Year doesn't have to be about hectic travel and exhaustion; it can be about finding peace within yourself, and in a warm space, hearing your inner 'Happy New Year.' This Spring Festival, staying at the Sofitel felt like stepping into a warm, open, and inviting hotel. The New Year activities in the lobby were a big hit with guests, and the free couplet writing was a really creative touch. Mia at the front desk was also incredibly, incredibly enthusiastic with her service.

The surrounding area was quiet, and transportation was convenient 🚗. There were also plenty of parking spaces 🅿️. The overall ambiance was warm yet stylish ✨. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!
