Lanyue Mercure (Guangzhou Dafosi Beijing Road Pedestrian Street)

I'll start with the pros: - the location is super convenient. It's pretty close to Beijing street, the subway is also within walking distance. - the staff is friendly. We didn't interact much, though. - it's clean. The cleaning in the room is daily, they change all towels, bring water etc. The sheets are stainless and the mattress is good. - our room was upgraded to the one with the bathtub for free. - the price is very affordable - the street is quiet In my opinion, the location, helpfulness and cleanliness are what's the most important during the trip, and this place is good with these. Everything else is as good as you pay for. So, the cons: - the room requires renovation a bit. Don't expect it to be pristine perfect - you can hear the sounds from the corridor, and also if your neighbors use the shower at night. - There might be cooking smells from the street, but you can close the window and use air conditioning. Overall, it's definitely very good for the price. Our stay was pleasant, we didn't experience any problems. Thanks.

The Hotel is in a good location. Close to Beijing road. We expected a little bit more, because the pictures on trip looked so luxurious. The hotel itself looked a little old. The amenities could be renewed and the lift was quiet dirty. The room itself was clean, although the placement of the Lightswitches are a little annoying. The light switch for the bathroom is not in the bathroom, but at the exit of the room.

Room was the perfect size for couple, minimalist design. My partner always loves it when they have projector in the room which is perfect if you just want a lazy chill day.Good location near to Beijing Road, hotel staffs were helpful and friendly!! Would come back here again next time!
