+ next to the Chinese Medicine Hospital + classic old neighborhood + tons of foods around - quite far from nearest subway (15-20 minute walking) - no elevator because its an old building - the room is too old, and not profesionally well maintained, many broken parts, the exhaust didnt work, the floor is dusty - the water pressure is a joke I know its cheap and good value. But you can do better than this. Even in Thailand have far better hostel than this. Special thanks to Miss Fu (the reception young lady) for a friendly and sincere service 🙏

I booked a bed in a 4-bed dormitory, with AC. The dormitory is a large enough, so you do not feel packed at all. The bed is a bunk bed, large enough, with a fair enough good mattress. For this dorm and the hostel, you have access to an ensuite bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) All was clean. Laundry facilities. The WiFi was good. The staff is nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.

This accommodation was chosen because it's located in the old city of Guangzhou. I could walk to Nanyue Mausoleum, Shamian, Cathedral, Haizhu Square easily. Ximenkou and Yide Lu metro stations are within 10 min walk. Many Cantonese foods and convenience stores are nearby. Vanguard supermarket (the biggest in Guangzhou - formerly Tesco) is above Ximenkou metro station exit. This accommodation is recommended only for the budget travellers who are willing to have good accommodation location over accommodation comfort.

The hostel is ok, if you are just planing to sleep and go out it’s perfect, the beds are very hard but if this is no a problem for you, then is perfect.

Worst mattresses ever. Just a peace of wood covered by bed sheet. Receptionists don’t speak any English. No kitchen or even dishes or anything.

Great location as walking distances between tourists spot and public transport. Hostel located in old building, but the room is clean and bed is comfortable. Overall good stay

The Hotel located at downtown area in Guangzhou. We were in Building B. It's very old and historical building. Room Height about 14 Feet. The location 10 to 12 min. walking distance from the XIMENKOU (Line-1) Metro Station - Exit A or B. (Near Guangzhou Children's Hospital). Reception person speak English. It is very helpful for foreign guest. The hotel using WeChat communication with guest. So, guest can easily communicate with hotel for any kind of help. There have a very nice COFFEE shop. It is relay enjoyable. Very nice place. Everything find near by this hotel.

Perfect location to feel historic vibes of city, clean rooms with good A/C and wifi, very helpful hotel staff who helped us with deliveries, amazing cafe downstairs. Highly recommended!

Thats the best place in Guangzhou.If you planning to do a business in GZ or work here,for these money its the best,even better than other hotels that costs more expensive.The location is just between all business points.3 subway stations nearby,max 10 min walking.New owners has changed everything its super clean,and new.

Very efficent little hostel for a short stay, the beddings, the rooms very simple. The location is perfect for walking aorund Yuexiu and discovering this beautiful district. if you want some confort I recommend you book a bigger room.

It is in a touristic location. A retro lounge with a decent cafe inside. Quite a convenient place. The rooms are average as it is an old building. Water dripping from the bathroom ceiling on the third floor. The lamp on the bed didn't work.
