Shangshui Boutique Design Hotel

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel environment was spotless, the room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept like a log. Manager Jiefu provided warm and thoughtful service, the front desk handled check-in efficiently, and the housekeeping staff responded to requests promptly. The entire experience was considerate and heartwarming. The location is also very convenient with great transport links and excellent facilities. It's superb value for money! I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip. Highly recommended! My experience was 100%, 100%, 100%!

I arrived with high expectations, only to leave very disappointed. Overall, the butler service was decent, but the hotel facilities are outdated, and some staff members had a snarky, unpleasant attitude. Firstly, upon check-in, a staff member escorted us to our room. Pointing to the dried longans on the table, she said, 'You can eat these longans in the room, but you can't take them with you,' repeating it several times in a very strange tone. It was just some dried longans, nothing special, but her words made us feel like she was treating guests like thieves. Secondly, the in-room facilities are old. The faucet adjustment kept falling off, and water would sometimes come from the overhead shower and sometimes from the handheld shower. The curtains couldn't block out the light no matter how I pulled them. The shower hook was outside the shower stall, so after a shower, I had to open the door into the cold to get my clothes. Who designed such an inconvenient setup? It's completely impractical! Our room was a duplex, and the upstairs bathroom door couldn't close properly; we had to prop it open with furniture. There was a constant sewer smell, and the window was drafty, letting in a strong wind all night, which really disturbed our sleep. Thirdly, the air conditioning in the room surprisingly had no heating, even in 2026! It happened to be a cold day, less than 10 degrees Celsius. We turned on the AC for heat, but it just got colder. We later found out that the hotel's central air conditioning doesn't provide heat, and the hotel didn't inform us beforehand. They reluctantly provided an electric heater. Fourthly, the hotel's core hot spring pools were in disrepair. We stayed in two rooms, and the hot spring pools in both rooms had serious leaks. Water would leak out as we filled them, and the temperature sensors were broken, so we had to guess the water temperature. In short, I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this place to friends.

A perfect stay for a vacation! The Shangshui Hotel boasts a serene environment with rooms offering great views. The facilities are new and well-equipped, and the toiletries are high-quality. Our butler, Xiao Kang, provided meticulous and thoughtful service, from the welcome drink at check-in to promptly fulfilling our daily needs. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and we enjoyed breakfast with a view of the Yadong River. It was incredibly relaxing and truly therapeutic!

The location is superb, built right next to a stream. The hotel is conveniently located next to the popular Duck Cave River, which is a great spot to play in the stream during summer. There are also many relaxing attractions nearby, like the Liuxi Hot Spring Plaza and other stations. The hotel itself is very distinctive. This time, we stayed in a duplex family suite with a private hot tub, which gave us a unique experience. I have to mention the hotel restaurant; the environment is beautiful, and you can even see the Duck Cave River from your window seat. The pho and rice noodle rolls at the breakfast buffet were especially delicious 😋. The restaurant manager and staff were warm and attentive, and they promptly resolved any issues we had. All in all, this was a great stay, and we'll definitely be back in the summer!

The hotel is beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Xiaokang was especially welcoming and the hotel restaurant served excellent food. They have an afternoon tea bar and a gym. I will definitely come again!

The environment is elegant and unique, the service meets luxurious 5-star standards, and the butler service provided by Xiaokang is absolutely top-notch. Highly recommended! The hot spring experience is superb.
