Gluck Hotel (Guangzhou North Station Huadu Square)

The hotel's projector was quite clear, and with a membership, there's a good selection of movies and TV shows to watch on the 100-inch screen, which I'd highly recommend. You can also request a late check-out. The hotel's location is very convenient, about a 10-minute walk from the subway station. Plus, there's a self-service laundry room, so the facilities are excellent!

Facilities: On par with a typical hotel. The following is just an objective account: My friends checked into their first room at noon, and they said it smelled terrible. The front desk changed us to another room, but the light in that one was broken and couldn't be turned off... We were exhausted coming back to the hotel on New Year's Eve, and having to deal with these hotel facility issues was just too much for me 😇. In the end, we had to pull out the key card to sleep, and since we had another trip planned for the next day, my phone couldn't charge. Although the front desk compensated me with a late check-out, isn't this hotel's location usually for people who are just staying overnight to catch a flight or train? I hope the hotel can regularly maintain its rooms; even a problem like a light that can't be turned off shouldn't happen. On another note, the service attitude was quite good and not related to the staff themselves. Cleanliness: So-so. Environment: So-so.
