Walking distances to beijing road pedestrian walk street, nearby beijinh road metro station. The hotel provide free tea and coffee at reception, hotel staff friendly and courteous, especially Xiao Liu and Ker Er. The bedroom was clean and comfortable although no window view. There are convenient shop and eatery shop at the same row. Good location, good servies and we have a comfortable stay.

Location is perfect, very close to metro station. However, the sound proof is bad and smoking is allowed. Non-smoker may find it difficult to stay.

James Joyce Coffetel Hotel (Guangzhou Beijing Road Metro Station Pedestrian Street) had faint cigarette smell that lingered in the elevator, and room. On our 2nd/last night, we also encountered a cockroach and an unpleasant urine odor. It seems the towels weren’t changed, as the one we used had a hole in it, which matched the same hole in the other towel. Unless all the towels have holes, that seems unlikely. The holes looked like tears, & surely not part of the design. The shower foam was almost empty and wasn’t refilled; when we tried to pump it, nothing came out. We had to request a refill from the front desk, which took couple of minutes. On the positive side, the location is great—just a five-minute walk to the metro—and they offer free coffee, hot tea, and some soft drinks, although they were average. I read reviews mentioning a friendly front desk, but our experience wasn’t very positive in that regard.
