MARHAUS Hotel (Beijing Road Tian-Zi Pier Store)

Great view of Zhujiang river. Good service. Buffet is ok but the food is the same everyday. Lift is fast. Aircon and hot shower are working well. Room and bed is comfortable and quiet. Sound proof is good. The only bad thing is my room has no safety box. However, no worry as security is tight and never lose anything. Location is good near to Metro and Tian Zi Pier. Those looking forward for Zhujiang Night View Cruise can consider staying here.

I am impressed by this hotel. Good for single person going Guangzhou for business short trip. Location 5-6 mins walk from mrt station. This station also easy to travel to Guangzhou popular attractions such as Beijing road, Chen Jia Zi, Guangdong Folks Arts Museum. Nearby hotel you can find 7-11, Starbucks, Mac within short walking distance. Opposite hotel portion of Yang Zhi Jiang for your walk or jog. If you like old canton style food such as roast pork, roast goose etc, there are restaurants nearby or you may sit at the local small eatery shops and enjoy these canton food. However, don’t expect a big room with fridge from this hotel. Also the breakfast provided don’t expect too high. But I like the staff there - they are helpful and cheerful. Know how to guide us here and there as this is my friend and I first visit to Guangzhou. Special thanks to this receptionist girl Shen Meng Jie 沈梦洁 for her warm service to guide our trip here

Road is very small and tight, location is not the best but walkable to the train station

When I have work stress and need to fix and get out with ideas I’ll be going to this new hotel for me , has a good view and atmosphere and near from the city center

A very nice hotel in a perfect location for a walk along the river side and for sampling the local food because there are many good restaurants nearby. Cannot fault the room as it was clean and spacious. The hotel is also a short walk (approx 5 mins) from a line 6 metro station. The service was nothing outstanding but nothing subpar either; two staff were needed to check in one foreign guest and they could seem more welcoming to guests when they arrive.
