For 300 a night, the room was tiny and had no windows. The soundproofing was also terrible. I'd especially recommend getting rid of breakfast altogether; the fried noodles were so salty I threw them out after one bite, and I didn't even touch the congee. I ended up going out for breakfast. I definitely won't be staying here again; the value for money is just too low. I really don't understand how it has so many good reviews.

This was the second hotel I stayed at in Guangzhou, located in the old town. The room was clean and tidy, close to the subway station, and public transport was also convenient. It's a great recommendation for families, and the front desk staff were wonderful!

The mirror falling off the wall in the middle of the night was a bit startling. The hotel is closest to Metro Exit B. If you take Exit D2, you'll have to drag your luggage quite a distance outside. Also, the cleaning staff started knocking on the door to clean at 9 AM; isn't that a bit early?

The room is mostly clean. There is a little bit of mold in the grout in the shower, but otherwise it’s decent. The nearest subway station is a 10 minute walk away and brings you to many attractions nearby, such as Beijing Road and Shamian Dao Island. Unfortunately, the hotel is right next to school and there will be announcements early in the morning during a school day which will be heard loud and clear as the the windows are not well insulated. The walls are also not sound proofed greatly as I was able to hear heated discussions next door from time to time.
