Good location. Right in front of Haizhu sqaure exit E (only stairs, no escalator/elevator). Might be tough if have a lot of stuff/luggages. Exit that has escalator is F & B1 (in the park opposite to the hotel), but when i stayed, there was a construction site blocking all road crossing section. So you need to walk around to get to the hotel. Apart from this, the room is very big with good sceneric. The bed is very comfy. Cleanliness is quite good except the floor that might not vacuum that well. A little bit of ciggarett smell in the hallway eventhough on the non-smoking floor, but in the room is fine. I was stayed on 15th floor. Overall very good!

The environment is pleasant, the service was also good, and the room was quite spacious. All in all, it was excellent.

I stayed near Ximenkou subway station on a long-term business trip to Guangzhou. I have known this hotel for many years and stayed here for the first time. I upgraded the room type to a suite and it felt good. It was very quiet, with a small refrigerator and a desk. The air conditioning was also very powerful. Although the hotel is old, it is very suitable for business trips and travel. Opposite is Xihua Road, where there are many food options. The subway is also very convenient. It is also recommended to bring your own shampoo and shower gel. The hotel is average

Staying at Guangzhou’s most historical hotel was a unique experience. As all queen room has been occupied, I was upgraded to a suite for a day. Zhujiang River view is stunning. The hotel not far from Yuexiu Centre, is ideal. The service was average, and the room had noticeable dust. Some historical features like buttons were no longer functional, preserving these would enhance the charm. I was amazed to see 1937 hanger stand in the room. With facility upgrades, this hotel could easily achieve 4-star status. Overall, its historical allure makes it worth visiting.

Customer service is good, rated 8/10, and the rooms are clean, also 8/10. Language support can be a bit challenging for non-Chinese speakers, rated 5/10. Overall, a decent stay for the price. Rating: 7/10

A stone's throw away from the Pearl River. Take the overhead bridge. There are more restaurants across the street. It was a straightforward and friendly service from day one to our last day. If you need anything or find anything lacking, just ask. They will try their best to accommodate you. We were hesitant to approach at first (most of them looked pretty stern 😅) but it turned out they were more than happy to help. For housekeeping, you need to give clear instructions. Otherwise, they will just enter your room to refill amenities and make the bed (no new sheets or sweeping unless you specify it beforehand). The housekeepers are all very cheerful. Spacious room. When we were there (8-12⁰C most nights), the central heating was not working. No self-service laundry!

I stayed here for the second time. The hotel is in a good location, and you can enjoy the scenery along the river across the street. I booked a standard room and used Ctrip points to redeem a room upgrade. When I stayed here for the first time, the room was indeed upgraded to the 7th floor. However, I used the upgrade voucher again for the second time, but it was obvious that the room was not upgraded. The floor was low and the facilities were old. There was a peculiar smell in the room, which took a long time to dissipate after opening the window for ventilation. Let's put it this way, tourists who want to stay here are advised to stay on the 7th floor or above for more comfort.
