I cannot say enough how great the stay at the Asia International Hotel. I arrived in a panic because I was 40RMB short for my long hour and a half taxi ride, but the concierge Ricky came out to the taxi and paid the remainder from his very own money. I was then able to exchange Australian dollars for Chinese RMB and pay Ricky back. Things like this do not happen. The whole staff were amazing and ever so helpful. I only stayed 1 night but the breakfast was absolutely so extensive and so enjoyable in the restaurant on the 45th floor where you could view a 360 view of the whole of Guangzhou. We will definitely be staying at the Asia International Hotel the next time we are in Guangzhou. Thank you so very much.

Landmark Hotel Review – Guangzhou I had a very pleasant stay at Landmark Hotel. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the metro, making it easy to get around the city. The environment is clean and well-kept, and one of the highlights for me was the convenient self-service laundry and ironing facilities — a real plus for travellers. The staff were courteous and helpful, even though English is limited for some. I especially appreciated the hardworking housekeeper who kept my room in great shape throughout my stay. The concierge team was also fantastic — very helpful with handling deliveries and kindly keeping my belongings safe while I travelled to Yiwu. A special mention goes to Candy, one of the service managers. Her assistance made a huge difference in helping me feel comfortable and less out of sync despite the language barrier. She was truly wonderful and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Overall, I’d happily recommend Landmark Hotel for its great location, cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, and genuinely helpful team. The Restaurant by the lobby on 1st floor does good food too 👌👍

The hotel room wasn't particularly large, and the decor was a bit dated, but it was still comfortable. It boasts a superb location, right next to the Friendship Store and a large shopping mall, with Guangzhou Zoo just a short stroll away. The toiletries were decent. The buffet breakfast was acceptable, served on the 30th floor, offering beautiful views of Guangzhou's old town. A pleasant surprise was that because I needed to wait for a guest, I requested a late checkout until 3 PM from the front desk, and to my surprise, it was approved! This saved me from having to kill time after lunch and allowed me to enjoy a leisurely lie-in. Overall, a very good hotel, highly recommended. 👍👍👍

This truly is an established hotel that left a lasting impression on me. The front desk was managed by a slim, handsome gentleman whose attitude was incredibly gracious and accommodating, answering every question I had. My first impression was absolutely wonderful! Upon entering the room, a sweet, milky, and fresh fragrance immediately enveloped me, yet it was far from cloying! It smelled absolutely divine, instantly uplifting my mood. What truly surprised and delighted me was that this subtle, long-lasting aroma seemed to emanate directly from the walls! Simply exquisite. The room was incredibly spacious, and all the amenities were exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean. This truly is the best hotel I've stayed in all year! The comfort factor was elevated to its peak when, after a relaxing evening bath, I wrapped myself in the huge, thick, and wonderfully soft bath towel. Pure bliss! That towel definitely deserves a special mention. The hotel boasts a beautiful garden-style design, situated right by the river... it's simply breathtaking! The photos I've included were even taken from my bedside, showing off the stunning view! The Chinese cuisine at the hotel was also delicious! My final shout-out goes to the single armchair by the window 😀... Once you sink into it, you absolutely won't want to get up – it's the ultimate 'lie-flat' feeling, pure relaxation! 😂 I'd love to buy one just like it; if anyone knows where to find it, please share a link! Thanks a bunch! I've already declared: whenever I'm in Guangzhou, this will be my go-to hotel! ❤️❤️

Extremely satisfied. I stayed here once two years ago and had a great experience, so when the location was convenient for my current trip, I booked it again. It's quite rare to find officially star-rated hotels these days. There are no fancy gimmicks, but both the service and the rooms offer excellent value for money. The hotel is right next to the station on the same side; step out and you're directly on the station plaza. Guangzhou Station is quite old and run-down, and surprisingly, the central subway entrance lacks an elevator. Fortunately, I had little luggage, so taking the stairs was fine. The hotel's main entrance is just around the corner from the main road in front of the station, and taxis can also access the parking area. The gentleman at the front desk was very efficient and incredibly accommodating when I asked to change my room type – it felt like an upgrade! The elevators require card access both to call and inside the car, so security is quite good. The soundproofing was also decent. What impressed me most was the mattress; it offered excellent support and wasn't one of those overly soft, gimmicky ones. There were also two types of pillows, soft and firm, and their quality surpassed some so-called 5-diamond hotels. Simply put, good quality often means a bit of heft, otherwise, the support wouldn't be adequate. This is the only full five-star rating I'm giving this year. I hope you maintain this level of service quality, as I anticipate staying here more often in the future. I was too busy to take photos, but frankly, taking them wouldn't have added much value, as their effort clearly isn't focused on superficial appearances.

The accommodation in Guangdong Shengli Hotel is always great. Not because it is located on a charming Shamian island, with many historical stories and lots of architectural buildings around, but because of their most sophisticated hotel services and a full understanding of customer needs. This is the second time I've stayed there. In the room, I was enjoying my coffee, and the beauty of the Pearl River was right in front of me. The room was cosy and clean. I should mention that the staffs(especially the Cici girl) were very friendly, helpful and kind. They made me feel at home during my stay. This hotel preserves the culture and history of Guangzhou. I realised that I had more opportunities to acquire this knowledge. Thank you for giving us such a warm and merry atmosphere.

The room was clean and well-maintained, with smart voice control throughout. The hotel staff provided excellent service. Its location is superb – the hotel itself is very picturesque, and it's situated right on Shamian Island, which is a fantastic spot to spend a few hours exploring and taking photos. Transportation is incredibly convenient: the subway station is just a few minutes' walk away, the cruise terminal is within a ten-minute walk, and Yongqingfang is also easily accessible on foot. You can even ask the hotel to help you purchase discounted tickets for the river cruise. This hotel offers incredible value for money, I highly recommend it!

For a hotel of this caliber, there's little need for explanation. Its profound cultural heritage and distinguished history are simply unmatched by ordinary establishments. This venerable hotel radiates an expensive, timeless elegance. With a plaque inscribed by Guo Moruo, and having personally hosted Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou Enlai as they received numerous foreign dignitaries – what more could one possibly say? While it may not offer the high-tech appeal of newer hotels, it certainly provides an immense wealth of cultural depth. Highly recommended!

This time, I checked in because of an accident. I had a two-day meeting at Sanyu Hotel, and the conference arranged accommodation. As a result, the smart parking garage broke down when I was leaving. The reply I received at the time was that I didn't know when it would be repaired. I was quite speechless and thought I was unlucky. I had to pay for an extra night. I originally wanted to hold the hotel responsible, but because of an enthusiastic employee on the scene, he apologized again and again and sent me to the front desk to check in and sent me to the room. The next day, he also helped me pick up the car and move the luggage. After thinking about it, it's not easy now, so let's not embarrass each other. The facilities and hygiene of the old hotel are not cost-effective, but the service quality of the employees can indeed make up for a lot. In the future, I hope to repair the hardware in time to avoid similar incidents. In fact, the garage was repaired in about two hours, which means I stayed for one night in vain, but in view of the enthusiastic service of Mr. Wang Yux, I will not pursue it.
