This stay was disappointing. I'm speaking frankly, and the details are provided below for your reference. 1. Improper projector adjustment: The projector in the room had an incomplete image display. After adjustment, the staff stated that the problem could not be fixed, stating that "no guest had used this feature before." They then suggested that further adjustment require stepping on the bed or "viewing through the curtains." This approach was unprofessional and failed to truly address the issue. 2. The housekeeping service was ineffective: The housekeeper never showed up during my stay, and inquiries in the WeChat group (such as regarding the use of the Bluetooth speaker) went unanswered. Basic service response mechanisms were lacking. 3. Basic requests were not respected: Despite clearly stating that cats were not permitted in the room, two cats still entered and stepped on the towels, raising concerns about hygiene. 4. There were serious issues with the post-event communication process: When returning the room card upon check-out, the front desk offered a 20% discount on the room rate, but the booking would need to be canceled. This suggests that the B&B was fully aware of the issues that occurred the previous night, yet they collectively avoided the issue and failed to proactively communicate and remedy the situation after or during my stay. I finished breakfast at the hotel after 9:00 PM and checked out at 10:00 AM. The B&B's excuse for not contacting me, "not wanting to disturb my rest," is untenable. Although the manager later offered to waive the entire room fee, the overall handling of the matter revealed a serious lack of proactive service awareness on the part of the B&B. Objective Review: Pros: Beautiful natural scenery (though the Baling River and Dishuitan are not the only views they offer), and a good travel photographer. Cons: Outdated room facilities, a serious lack of service awareness and proactive communication, and management mechanisms need improvement. In addition, the B&B's travel photos during my stay included my portrait. If the B&B subsequently uses or discloses my portrait without authorization, or uses this as leverage, I reserve the right to pursue legal action.
