This is a great little hotel in the center of downtown. The Palace, history museum, central market and relief map are all within walking distance. Contrary to other reviews: credit cards accepted (with tap to pay). Has hot water showers (takes a while to get to shower head). Great common areas to hang out in. The top deck is great. Super secure, outside location, electric inside gate, then room door. The owner Luis is a great help also

We love our stayed in Casa Jocotenango in Guatemala City. The host was really helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and it has everything we needed. We could use the shared kitchen to prepare breakfast. Highly recommended.

The owner Luis is an amazing host. This is my 2nd trip to his hotel. He makes himself available to take the guests around. The quality of this service, combined with the hotel can't be beat.

It took me a while to find this place but definitely worth the effort. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The host Luis is kind ,patient and very accommodating. He has gone out of his way to help me and make me feel comfortable. Fatima cooks a wonderful breakfast and is so kind.i can't recommend this place this place highly enough.
