Pretty basic stay but did the job. Central location with friendly staff and a lovely bar at the top with scenic views. Bed was extremely comfortable, smart TV good and a nice warm shower. WiFi was absolutely awful throughout our stay and the amenities were generally basic. Noise is also quite loud with nearby buses and construction.

This is a huge, very modern hostel with a rooftop bar and dining area. Town is very small so this is in the middle of Central. Very close to the bus stop. It was nice to have a TV in the room. I hadn’t planned to stay for another night, but my accommodation fell through for the next location and the current place I was staying in didn’t have space so I had to move here. My most expensive lodging were the hotels in this town but it could be supply and demand. Some opted to base elsewhere and come as day trip. It was my first stop. During my travels we also had five days where we had really poor weather and so due to circumstances unforeseeable I have to shift my plans around that wasn’t the most ideal logistically. Nice to have ac in the room hence this hostel is abit more. The front desks hosts were helpful and friendly!

The hotel is centrally located in town. This has its advantages although because it is located adjacent to where buses running all along the ruta de la flores turn around, it is quite noisy from 6am in the morning. Style is quite contemporary. Fairly basic but it fulfils all needs and is inexpensive. There is a comfortable bed, a great shower, strong WiFi, friendly staff and reasonable breakfast. It ticks all the boxes.

My friend and I stayed here to enjoy the food markets. The hostel was in a great location to walk directly to the market but was also subject to a lot of noise as a result. Breakfast was delicious and the rooftop area is a real gem. Rooms were also pleasant and clean.

Worst Hostal in Central America. I booked and cancelled within the Cancellation period. A month after cancelling they took the reservation money and 4 months later they have not refunded me despite admitting it was their error. Even refused to give me the refund in Cash when I went in person. I had to take time out our trip to go there and yet they were zero help! They are now ignoring all my attempts to contact them despite ‘promising’ me my money.

I had a 3 night stay here as part of my trip around Ruta de las Flores. My first reaction is that the hotel building looks somewhat out of place - not in keeping with the town of juayua. However, that shouldn’t put you off as I had a totally fabulous stay. The rooms are simple but very stylish. The beds are very comfortable, the shower was hot (not something you get in many places in Central America) and I had a very comfortable stay. The rooftop terrace is great - wonderful views, chilled space and a great way to start the day with breakfast or end with a beer or two. Breakfast was lovely, with a choice of the a la carte menu. Service was lovely, with all staff being friendly and helpful. As a bonus the 8-hour laundry turnaround was very helpful. Definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in 2 months travelling around the region. Would totally recommend Bourbon Hostel.

No teníamos muchas expectativas de un pueblo pequeño como Juayua, pero la verdad el hotel nos sorprendió muchísimo y nos llenó las expectativas. Los felicito por la visión de tener un lugar así en un zona como Juayua.
