Red Level at Gran Melia Palacio de Isora

Had an absolutely amazing holiday with my partner at Gran Melia Palacio De Isora. Red Level staff made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The overall experience was 5-star from the food to the service and accommodation. We particularly loved the sunsets and our dinners at the La Terasse Red Level restaurant. Would be coming back for a third time soon!

My fiancé and I stayed at the property August 3-14th and had the time of our life. We came back after two years after got engaged here at the property last time. And what a stay... We cannot fully recognise every one, but we felt we came "home" again from the first minute. We reserved private transport from the airport which were 100% and a perfect start. From the minute we entered RedLevel reception and throughout the stay we felt we were taken care of "over and beyond". Fantastic room with with partial see view (perfect for us) and super service from housekeeping and VIP service. We tried all the restaurant at the property, all very good, but our favorites were La Terrasse and Le Bistrot Provencal. The tasting menu at the La Terrass was truly worth a Michelin star (or two). Extra ordinary experience with local food and wine (many of the local wines I give 4.5 rating in Vivino). Even though all of Melia employees gave us a super experience and service, we really want to highlight the Red Level "Dream Team" Pablo, J. Angel, Mohamed, Angel, Daniel, Ricardo, Erensto, Fernando and Alejandro What a team and what a service and good laugh and interactions. These fantastic people made us decide to come back again next year already.

This was our second stay at Red Level, Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora, and once again the experience was exceptional. The standard of service, attention to detail, and quality of the facilities were all of the highest calibre. Every member of staff we encountered was courteous, professional, and clearly dedicated to ensuring a memorable stay — they are a true asset to the hotel. While there were flies this year, likely due to fertiliser used on nearby banana plantations, this was a minor inconvenience easily resolved with a short walk into Alcala to purchase repellant. We have already booked our return visit for two weeks in September, which is a testament to the consistently high standard the hotel delivers. We look forward to our next stay!

We have been using Red Level as our go to hotel in Tenerife for a decade. It is true that many of the original benefits have been phased out, and the rooms are in need of an update. The customer service and food offering are still good, and value for money. We have Platinum Melia membership which still gives a 20% discount on bookings, but we were not offered a superior room upgrade again which was disappointing. The hotel is pushing Circle membership, which creates a new level above Platinum - having read the reviews on Google, we decided that it was not for us. Finally, the holiday was spoilt by a combination of noise from a nearby building site and lots of biting flies.

We absolutely love this hotel. It's our second stay within the Red Level and we felt things had actually improved from last May - which takes a lot to say as it was pretty perfect before! I'd been in touch with the red level reception a couple of weeks prior to arrival to ask if they could book a different restaurant each evening for around 19:30. That was all done and confirmed back within the hour. My 12noon early check in request for the 2 rooms was also noted and honoured which was much appreciated. We again had a front ocean view junior suite which has the most fantastic sea and pool views from the top floor of the rooms overlooking the red level pool. Next time we are going to try the same room but with the large terrace - these ground floor rooms had a small gate and can be accessed directly from the red level pool. Whilst there isn't the same view, we felt this offered shade and easy room access throughout the day. We went for the All Inclusive plus which works for us as you can eat pretty much anything in any restaurant and the same with drinks throughout the day. The restaurant and drink prices can be expensive if you don't. The red level pool bar team were incredible - always smiling and very attentive with ensuring we had drinks and pool side snacks. The restaurants offer different dining experiences, all very good - and we felt the quality and choice of food was definitely improved from last year. Dining around 19:30 meant we had finished our meal for the evening shows which started at 21:30. These were top class and very enjoyable. We found tipping went a long way, especially the evening bar staff who and always found us a table for the entertainment, and were incredibly attentive with drinks. The professionalism of all the staff and genuine willingness to help are what makes this hotel stands out for us. They accommodated any request and without exception everyone we saw always greeted us with a smile and friendly interaction. This also included the gardeners and maintenance teams. Thank you to everyone again for a fantastic holiday and we will definitely be returning.

The ultimate luxury in a peaceful adult only paradise, overlooking the ocean. With its own heated pool, Red Level lounge with its own restaurant in a beautiful garden, this hotel experience will truly meet all of your expectations. An amazing breakfast is served in an exclusive area, and the staff are always on hand with excellent service. The sunshine was constant and a well received bonus, escaping from the UK.
