An entire 3 bedroom 3.5 bath accessible open layout home will be your home during your stay. The property is surrounded by protected wooded green space with the Taylor Run trail adjacent on the northwest side. The Owners Club, pools & lake are accessible by hiking or a short 5 minute drive. Enjoy bird watching, fishing, hiking and picnicking without driving anywhere! Great property — had access to hiking trails, fitness center with swimming pools, pickle ball courts, & other activities. Close to Galena for shopping, tours & dining. Loved the screened porch & property very private.

Great Escape in the Woods! Lovely home. Spacious, and loaded with things to make your stay homelike and comfy. Beautiful artwork and natural light. Really great Vrbo listing with a property manager who answered my texts within minutes throughout the stay. We loved it here and will likely return.

Wonderful Stay in the Woods My children and I stayed 4 nights after Christmas in Aspenhouse, and it was a fabulous place to unwind and relax after the holidays. The house was set up beautifully for family time, and we loved the feeling of being outside while still in the house. It was warm enough to take a little advantage of the three porches the house has, and can imagine how terrific it would be in the summer or fall. While there was a separate floor in the basement for gathering, we all wanted to be together and the main floor was perfect for it. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were maps and info to everything we needed, including the trails through Galena Territory. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to enjoy the woods and each other.

Great choice My family rented this cabin for a 40th birthday getaway. What a lovely house and quiet, secluded spot to enjoy nature. Close enough to town but far enough out to feel the quiet. The owner was easy to communicate with and the house had everything we needed. Can’t recommend enough.

Great Stay! The property was beautiful. The house was great for our short get-away. We were able to walk on the trail near the property to enjoy the nature nearby. It was a shorty drive to downtown Galena. Thank you for helping provide a relaxing stay!

Fall Get-Away Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Having a grill on the screened-in porch was incredible; there were lots of areas to play games and/or relax; and the trail down to the lake was clearly marked and a great walk. The cabin is set in the middle of a stand of trees so feels very private. Would definitely stay here again!
