Pullman Guiyang

This hotel is right in the city center, I'd say it's a five-star. The breakfast was quite rich and varied. The room itself was pretty standard, though the facilities are starting to show their age a bit. As for the view from the window, well, it's nothing special since it's in an old part of the city. Overall, for peak season travel, the price is quite expensive, but other aspects are decent, and the breakfast is definitely a highlight.

I originally booked two nights, but upon checking in, I found several issues. First, the parking lot is on the rooftop, and there's no direct elevator to the hotel lobby. You have to walk downhill, sharing the path with vehicles, which feels unsafe and is inconvenient for guests with luggage. The check-in staff were also indifferent. Secondly, the hygiene was quite concerning. I definitely won't be staying here again. This is my genuine experience.

Facilities: The sink in my assigned room wasn't draining. When I mentioned it to the staff who brought the bed rail, they fiddled with it and told me it was normal, haha, okay then. Cleanliness: Five stars Environment: The view outside the window was terrible, but the hotel interior was good, no issues there. Service: Well, no one bothered to fix the non-draining sink. Otherwise, I didn't encounter any other problems.

Pros: The hotel was pretty good, with spacious rooms. Although it's a bit older, it's well-maintained overall. The pet-friendly restaurant on the 5th floor was unique, and the facilities on the 4th floor were well-equipped. All the staff were very polite, professional, and well-organized, even during the peak season. A special shout-out to Victor for his professional and friendly service – and of course, all the other staff were great too! Cons: The lobby on the first floor was quite chaotic. I heard there are many entertainment venues, and with so many customers, it felt more like a noisy shopping mall. I suggest the hotel guests and entertainment venue patrons be separated, perhaps by not sharing the same elevators. As a hotel guest, I really hoped for a quiet and comfortable space.

I really trust this brand; I've stayed at Pullman hotels in many locations, both domestically and internationally. The location is great, transportation is convenient, and it's not far from the attractions. The facilities, including the swimming pool, are excellent, and the staff are friendly and efficient. They generally meet guests' reasonable requests. It's right next to Hongtong City Shopping Center and Erqi Road Snack Street, which is incredibly convenient. Highly recommended, I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

This is the worst Pullman I've ever stayed at! It doesn't feel like an international five-star hotel, more like a domestic four-star. I knew it was old before checking in, but wasn't it renovated in 2018? The facilities are still so outdated, not worth the 1000+ RMB price. And the swimming pool, the water is too dirty and deep, not good for kids. Lastly, the front desk staff had a terrible attitude, very dismissive when I asked questions!! It's not even as good as some hotels that cost a few hundred RMB less!!! What kind of training do they get?! My personal advice: avoid staying here if you can! It's terrible and a disgrace to the brand and its price! There are plenty of other hotels around Guiyang, no need to stay at this one.

The hotel room was very spacious, and the location was excellent. There's a snack street right downstairs, and a side door in the lobby leads directly to a restaurant next door, making it super convenient for dining, accommodation, and getting around. The kids absolutely loved it! The breakfast was rich and varied, and you could even interact with some small animals.

This hotel is so old and run-down, it's basically a hostel. And they're charging these prices? Seriously, save your money and go to Atour or All Seasons instead. When I arrived, there was no one at the entrance to help with luggage. The concierge desk was constantly empty, and staff were always behind a door. The service is really poor.

A 5-star hotel in Guiyang's old town, with excellent cleanliness, facilities, and service. I especially loved the breakfast buffet, and the outdoor pet park was adorable, with the mini pigs constantly searching for food. The twin room had surprisingly large beds, perfect for families with kids who might want to snuggle up without feeling cramped.
