Normally, this place would have received an excellent or good rating. The owners are very friendly and helpful, it's a lovely and interesting house, and clearly a lot of effort has been put into setting up this B&B. However, our experience was not good. The owners are not on site, when we arrived and entered the building, nobody else was there. Yet, the living room and the kitchen were left in a disgusting and chaotic state. Dishes, food, and trash everywhere. Later it turned out that this was because some foreign workers had rented the place as a base camp to complete some local contract. They were cooking every evening and the entire house smelled of their food. They could not speak English or Danish, communication was difficult. My wife would not have dared to stay alone in the house. We felt this was a bit unfair to us since we have spent days of our precious vacation in such a setting. So, to sum up: you should not expect a cosy B&B like advertised on the homepage. It could be but without the owners on sit it is not. It is a huge and empty house and you must expect to share it with any type of fellow traveler and without the supervision and guidance of an owner on site.
