Der erste Eindruck war eher verhalten. Das Hotel befindet sich praktisch mitten im nirgendwo, etwas außerhalb von Güssing, rundherum nur Felder und Betriebe. Der Eingangsbereich ganz nett, aber sehr verlassen. Negativ: die Optik der Flure und Zimmer erinnert an ein Krankenhaus, die Böden, die Farben der Wände, Materialauswahl und Oberflächen der Möbel, Fliesen im Badezimmer, Fenster im Zimmer kann nicht vollständig geöffnet werden etc. Positiv: das Frühstück ist der Hammer, große Auswahl an frischem Gebäck, Wurst, Käse, Obst und Gemüse, Kaffee schmeckt sehr gut, in der Küche werden nach Bedarf Eier, Waffel und Porridge in vielfältiger Art und Weise zubereitet - für mich ein echtes Highlight! Weiterer positiver Punkt ist die Terrasse und der Garten. Bei schönem Wetter kann man sehr gemütlich draußen sitzen und den Garten inkl. Schwimmteich genießen.

Wir hatten für zwei Nächte gebucht und das größere Zimmer mit Aufpreis gewählt - größer ja - Komfort etwas eingeschränkt. Der Fernseher steht seitlich, sodass man ihn weder vom Bett noch von der Sitzgarnitur aus sehen kann. Wenn man die Lautstärke auf die mittlere Stufe stellt, funktionieren die Boxen nicht mehr richtig. Die Dusche ist groß, der Duschkopf ließ sich auch mit aller Kraft nicht verstellen. Der Garten wirkte etwas vernachlässigt und der Naturpool war voll mit grünen Algen - vermutlich kein Frischwasserzufluss. Was man aber dem Haus zu Gute halten muss, das Frühstück ist sensationell und das Personal wirklich sehr freundlich. Das WLAN ist super - nur gibt es keinen Schreibtisch im Zimmer.
