We had a very nice stay at Ran Hanok. Upon arrival we were welcomed and introduced to the building and our room. The Hanok is nicely located close to various historic sites which can be easily reached by walking or cycling along the riverbanks. Breakfast was a bit few (for a european) but was kindly served. The Hanok room has not much of equipment inside which is ok and part of the concept of traditional living. However, the floor heating was a completely new experience. Futon mattresses are kinda thin though and you might experience some back/hip pain.

I went there after reading the review. It was worse than I thought. The breakfast was actually below expectations. Where is the kindness I saw in the reviews? Just an ordinary pension It only looks like a hanok... I don't think I'll go there again next time. Oh, toothbrushes and slippers that can be used outside. Please bring your own.

It was a very happy year with the kind heart of the owners along with the Ondol through the Hanok experience on a family trip with my mother and sister. Thank you.

This place is beautiful and quiet. If you want to get away from city life, this is the place to relax and unwind. Having said that, after sun goes down it gets too quiet and bit boring. And the mat is way too thin to sleep on. I had to put 2 mats on the floor to sleep comfortably. But if you mind little discomfort and experience Hanok. This is the place to stay. There is also a river close by for going for little walk if you get bored.

Nice stay in a more tradition accommodation as part of our Korean family holiday. Very helpful staff.

The people who run the property are super helpful. They helped us find local shops and assisted with some unplanned issues that came up for us.

It was a nice experience to stay in a Korean Hanok with ondol room. The owner & daughter were extremely friendly & helped with arranging the taxi service to Ktx station. The Hanok was very quiet and peaceful.

I do recommend to stay in this guesthouse as it is really lovely (the hanok architecture), close to the historic district of Gyeongju and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

The ondol room is warm and great for staying with family. There's a convenience store nearby, so it's a good idea to buy groceries in advance.

It's not something that can be seen as an advantage of a hanok, and it's an ordinary motel, but only the exterior... It's not Korean food, and the portions are too small to call it Western food, so I wonder if it's just a show of condescension. I don't want to go next time

I made a reservation because it was a hotel and I liked the photos, but it was a guesthouse and the facilities were somewhere between a motel and an inn. Even though it is peak season, 200,000 won is very expensive. Fortunately, it was clean and friendly. However, compared to the facilities, the price was difficult to bear mentally.

The cleanliness was okay, but there wasn't enough toilet paper, the soap was used by the guests in front, and the shampoo was also large, so the guest in front and the guest behind had to share it until it was all used up, which wasn't very good. The environment was quiet and close to nearby tourist attractions, which was nice. When breakfast was served, I was given baked eggs, apple slices, melon slices, and a glass of orange juice.

Both the room and bathroom are clean and well maintained, and the bedding is soft and clean. Breakfast is simple and includes toast, fruit, baked eggs, coffee, and juice. Parking is easy, and there is a cultural complex called Place C right in front, so you can use exhibitions, cafes, and restaurants. However, the noise between the walls is so loud that you can hear it until late. Other than that, it is good value for money.
