Because I wanted to get up early to watch the morning mist in Shaxi, I chose this B&B, which is only five or six minutes’ walk from Yujin Bridge. The boss sister was so nice to invite me and my mother to have breakfast together, and she was also very enthusiastic about sharing the time to watch the morning mist in Shaxi with us. And the location, in fact, there is a great viewing platform right in front of the B&B and you can see the beautiful morning fog! In addition, the room is also very clean. There is an electric blanket on the bed. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable and I can sleep well. I made an appointment with the boss sister to come see her next time I come to Shaxi hahaha

LLnnierShaxi truly is a hidden paradise! Once you're here, you won't want to leave, and those who've departed will yearn to return. The city's clamor is replaced by lush greenery, and the constant hum of traffic and urban bustle are nowhere to be found.
This guesthouse was lovingly created by the proprietress from her own residential building. She is truly wonderful – so generous and capable! The guesthouse environment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and hygienic. They even have EV charging stations, which totally eased my range anxiety. The spacious courtyard is perfect for kids to chase and play ball, and there's a plum tree with ripe, sweet plums! When the adults went out to explore, the owner took the kids for tie-dye. When we mentioned wanting to try mushroom picking, the owner promptly took us out early in the morning. Seriously, they grant your every wish!
We originally planned to stay for just one night, but ended up extending to two, then three, then four nights – we simply didn't want to leave! We had planned an 8-day trip to Dali, but ended up spending 5 of those days right here in Shaxi. 😂
The guesthouse is a bit of a distance from the ancient town, but the owner provides electric scooters. Cruising around the town on them every day was incredibly enjoyable and relaxing!
In the past, my travels always felt rushed, but this stay at Yanma Guesthouse truly allowed me to experience the joy of ”slowing down.” 🌹🌹🌹

LLichenyoujiIt's been a few days since I left Shaxi Ancient Town, and I can't stop thinking about it. The beautiful countryside is what city dwellers truly yearn for.
Every time I visit Shaxi, I exclusively choose the Lanlinge Hotel for my stay. Not only does it offer a prime location and stunning views of the courtyard, but it also boasts comprehensive amenities and high-quality service. It's a peaceful and tranquil place, and convenient for getting around. After all, it's the only hotel in the ancient town, so its stability and service are incredibly trustworthy.
A special thank you to the front desk lady for her thoughtful arrangements. I look forward to our next stay.
