It's located in a charming beach town that offers restaurants, shopping, markets, post office, gas station, convenience stores & a new full court basketball and tennis at the Summerland school during (none) school hours for your use, all within walking distance. The Summerland beach (Look Out Park) is operated by the County of Santa Barbara and is less than 1/2 mile from the Summerland Double Dolphin home. The park (Look out Park) offers a beautiful newly renovated playground, sand volleyball, ping pong tables, picnic tables, charcoal grills, Free parking and a Car Charging station. Great sunrise, sunsets, dolphins and whales at certain times of the year!The town of Summerland may be quaint but it offers something for everyone; whether you want to hike/bike the well groomed trails and backroads, surf the world famous Rincon, lay on the quiet beach, take the public bus to Santa Barbara or Carpinteria (world's safest beach!) or stay at home and watch the ocean - this is the place for you.
