Great Stay – Convenient Location, Friendly Staff, and Lovely Rooftop Pool
I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient — just a 3-minute walk to the nearest bus stop, making it super easy to get to popular areas like Valletta and Sliema.
The room (or studio) was a good size, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop swimming pool – the view from the top is amazing and a great spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always happy to assist with any questions or requests.
Overall, a great value stay and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Malta who wants easy access to the main sights while still enjoying a relaxing hotel experience
I chose UV for it’s location to the university as this visit to Malta was a work related. I should add that the visit was extended in order to catch up with some friends.
The facilities at the hotel were absolutely fine for my/our needs, lots of parking space etc.
I found the client facing staff to be very attentive, polite and professional; this is so important with regard to considering a return visit.
So, I no complaints and complements all round.

New modern setup apartment. Very spacious family room fit perfectly for family. Within walking distance to Sliema where the hop on bus and ferry. Value for money. definitely consider if visiting Malta again.

The room is large and very clean, very close to the tourist area! We checked in early but they kept our things for us. The bed in this hotel is also very comfortable. I'm very happy

Just the swimming pool on the rooftop was under construction but no big deal.
What is worth the detour is the breakfast in the sun on the terrace with a view of Valletta!
great elevated location with views across the bay, despite being in a busy part, its still a quiet alley and good easy parking.
the staff was very friendly. and served great breakast.
the spa costs extra which is always a bit odd, but they have a rooftop pool that is included for guests and its a great place to chill and catch some sun.
we rented suite with a yakuzzi and the yakuzzi never got heated (tried everything on the settings panel)..maybe they could pay some attention to that

Stayed for a wedding. Met new friends from the wedding. Easy access to bay walk, shops, mall. You do hear the character of the area while in the room, but it’s a unique experience. I was told the rooms up higher get hot, but my first floor room had good temperature. The White Horse Pub is down the street for a nightcap. The bus is in between both. Grab app works too. Breakfast is good. Was able to attend Karnival ta Malta with easy transportation along with other sites in Valletta. Secure entry system allowed 24 hours to access. Some construction, but Malta is building and renovating. Best value since there are many sights to see nearby. Safe and Friendly.
This is my 3rd time at Bayview Hotel and I'm glad I returned again as it's ideally located, budget-friendly, rooms are big, wifi is strong, ample secured parking, reception staff is helpful and friendly, while maid service is efficient. Their breakfast though quite good, could have been improved by way of service. I realised that this time, their staff isn't as attentive as they used to be. I have a knee injury and currently using a cane. One morning during breakfast, I politely asked a service lady to kindly provide me some napkins plus forks and knives as the table was bare. Usually they set up the tables for the next guests. She merely said ”There are provisions at the buffet. You can get it yourself.” Not a very courteous way to treat a guest! In addition, it is completely annoying to be asked during meals every 5-10min by the staff if they can takeaway already something from the table. Once, a lady staff almost tookaway my sister's plate even before she was done eating. They must be trained that it is disrespectful to incessantly approach the guests so very often! We must be allowed to eat in silence, enjoy our meal without intrusion!
Modern hotel with excellent staff who are always willing to help out with anything, treating people as real guests.
As with most modern hotels, sound carries and other guests dont always care about slamming doors in early hours.
Buffet breakfast was adequate without being great but had everything necessary .
Ocation on a side street from the main road made it convenient without any real traffuc noise.

JJUEWEN WENI stayed at this hotel for nearly a month, it is the most cost-effective hotel in Slima, everything is very clean, the staff is helpful, the housekeeping is done daily, not changing towels like other hotels. The elevator and construction site can be heard on one side of the hotel near the street, but the other side is very quiet, the bedding is soft and comfortable, I sleep well every day, I hope I can come here for a holiday next winter.
MmeimouseThe location is suitable for easy access, but because it is not the most lively street, it is very quiet, but the staff is very unprofessional. The hotel friend I booked arrived first and checked in with the printed reservation. The paid staff claimed that the unpaid fee was brushed. I went to the counter the next morning to explain the consequences and the staff who handled it casually said sorry without any apology. Let the friend fill out a list and say that the overpaid money will be returned to the original card. It is over. I told him that the next two days have been paid. The order situation asked him to update the room information for three nights. The staff was unapologetic and smiled. They did not tell why they found the error.

The apartment is clean and very spacious although it is not new so some doors sometimes in the closet were poorly opened or broken window in one of the bathrooms ( I don't know if someone told them this , maybe they just don't know ). Small shortages of equipment such as rod/float for .... but it's a little bit. Beautiful view and close windows are good silence near the busy street. If someone wonders, the sofas in the living room are not folded.
